Hands-down the best Israeli food that I have had in a very long time. All of the meals and dishes were fresh and made to order. The lamb and beef kebab was juicy and flavorful, which is hard to do. I highly recommend the cucumber and tomato salad, which was also very flavorful and infused with lemon. And if you want a special drink, get their iced tea unsweetened, which has a distinct mediterranean Flavor that you would not get anywhere else.Allergy friendly. No peanuts on menu.

The chef is an absolute riot. Greek, chicagoan and an excellent chef. He certainly knows how to take care of his guests and the food was fantastic. We got the sampler and the schwarma. Plentiful portions and excellent seasonings.The steak was perfect. The sweet potatoes were out of this world.I'd give the whole experience 12/10. Honestly it'll be hard to find anywhere to top KoPita's. I'll definitely be back.

My husband and were excited to eat here! We sat out and enjoyed people watching. The water was great. That's where the good ended... We waited 20 min to have our order taken. Before they took the order, we wanted to be sure our parking meter didn't time out so my husband walked over to take care of that. I ordered our food with a waitress who mentioned 2 coworkers he called out and that they apologize for the wait. I was very kind and told her we weren't in a hurry and that we were just enjoying our vacation, so it was fine. Well... Multiple people arrived after us, then group of people who came like 35 min after us started getting their appetizers served to their table. We literally ordered the same app and had nothing on our table. We asked a diff waitress if she could check out order because at this point over an hour had passed and we had NO food. She left and came back 10 minutes later to tell us "we're going to cook it fresh and it will be right out". We said absolutely not and left. All the food other people had looked amazing and we could hear people say how great it was, so I am bummed we didn't get to enjoy that food. But we were not about to receive service and then feel obligated to tip after all that. We ended up going to a small place called Pie Hut for Mediterranean that was not the most aesthetic but the food was AMAZING.

Amazing Mediterranean Find in Downtown Knoxville! Now that they have combined the vegan and non-vegan into just one restaurant it is so much easier to experience the restaurant with all my friends instead of just one subset of friends at a time. I've never been disappointed with a meal here, they have all been tasty and healthy. Unfortunately I fill up so much on plates, I rarely have time for after meal sweets.

The owner needs to start treating his customers with respect. We went there a few days back. Without even letting us see the menu, the owner told us he will give us some food of his choice which “we will love” and then went on to charge us almost $200 for a party of 5 people!! And all he gave us were some mediocre appetizers and that’s all!! What a shameful way to take people for a ride! We will never go back and neither should you!

I agree with some reviews here how the owner likes to take people for a ride and almost forces them to have some appetizers and then charges fine dining prices. I have paid less for eating at a fine dining restaurant (which also included wine) than what we ended up paying here for an okay quality of (only) appetizers. Ridiculous

My wife, myself, and a friend of ours tried KoPita for the first time last week, and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious with large portions. The staff was friendly and attentive. Chef Chicago, the owner, greeted us as soon as we walked in, and made us feel at home. I would highly recommend this place!
Absolutely one of the very best restaurants in Knoxville area the food here is absolutely exquisite and each time we go we are pleasantly surprised by summer and new dish that is utterly amazing prices are not cheap however the ingredients are top-notch and they do not settle. We go here at least once a week as a treat!

Wow! Great staff. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. I mentioned we were out of town and all off the sudden samples of sides were in front of us. Have not experienced any better Greek food anywhere. My local Greek restaurant needs to step it up after this experience!

Showed up at 8pm on a super busy Saturday night, owner greeted us and explained they'd been busy all day and we're out of most of the food. He offered us an "owners choice" meal and we agreed. It was awesome, tons of food and a great variety. 2 adults and 3 kids all enjoyed every bite, I can only imagine how yummy the rest of what they offer is. If your looking for a no frills, yummy meal check this place out.

Had a wonderful time! Chef Chicago is fantastic and his team was on point. I only caught the names of Matthew and Harrison but they were all very attentive and I enjoyed watching them work so well together. Food was delicious, too! We definitely recommend KoPita!!
