The atmosphere is super cute however , it’s summer and there was no a/c. After speaking with friends that have eaten here previously, they also stated it’s ALWAYS hot inside. We ordered a little of everything. The buns : meat and bun with “thousand island dressing” come one this is an Asian restaurant. I asked for tempura sauce for my bun instead and was given another mayo based dipping sauce . The spring rolls were also served with a mayo based sauce. The only appetizer we ordered that did not have a mayo based dipping sauce were the dumplings; however , I was not impressed. There was absolutely no flavor.
I know this is a ramen restaurant; however , who can eat ramen when it’s 90 degrees outside and inside the restaurant.
I was really expecting to love this concept but the flavor was lacking and again all were sweating while dining.

The atmosphere and service were incredible! The seating set up and the music keep this place lively yet comfortable enough to enjoy a quiet meal. Our server gave us time and space but also checked in and kept our table clean and our drinks full, which is much appreciated for a smaller table.☺
We tried a pork based ramen and a chicken based one. Both were balanced and light, yet flavorful. We also tried the popcorn chicken, thai tea, pork bao buns, and some deserts. Everything was pretty good overall, maybe a lack of flavor in the pork bun brings me to 4 stars.
Overall it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be back to try some other items!

We had been wanting to try this place! I must say everything we tried was really good. They also have a popcorn chicken for the people who don’t want to try any of the different food. We got springs rolls, and the dumplings! My girls for the chicken ramen bowls, and I got the pork. We all loved it. It was a lot of food we all took home leftovers. One down side is the Coke products are served out of a can. Which is fine. We will be back.

A+ boba, but I had a poor experience with customer service today on the TBarr side

Very exotic and cool ambience. Friendly service and authentic food.
The food was fine. There were a lot of employees just milling about and hanging out, which I guess is fine if that’s your vibe. Not many veggie options. And I couldn’t substitute chicken for tofu. Got the tofu as a side to the ramen. Probably won’t be going back.
I have been here multiple times within the last few months, as I love the food here. The atmosphere is wonderful and one of a kind, however, every time I I dine here, my experience with the wait staff is awful. I have to flag down my waiters for any order, or anything that I want- making me feel like an inconvenience. Tonight was the last night I will be a customer. I didn’t feel like dining in because of my experiences there in the past, so I ordered to-go. I placed my order, wasn’t asked my name- so I told them what it was immediately as I also work in food, and am expectant of what should be done. Right after I said my name, there was 0 confirmation of my order, there was no confirmation of the cost, and I was hung up on. A few minutes later, I show up to the restaurant, where I am greeted with no welcome- only to be stared at by a BOH employee as I walked through the door. Normally, that is not an issue as I realize people stare off into the distance, especially after a long day… not only did I continue eye contact with this person until I was greeted with a front of house employee, but after I was met at the counter, I was told “he is looking at the TV behind you, I can promise you that”. At this point, he had transitioned his eye contact elsewhere- which was the TV. I paid, was asked to tip, and did not. Which is extremely unusual, as no matter how I’m treated, I tip well. I had enough tonight. Once I left no tip, the hostess made a stink face as I had already complained about a random in the back staring at me, and she probably just assumed I was a Karen. I mentioned how the service was, said I was sorry about no tip but I am and have been extremely disappointed in the service here. Too expensive to pay for condescending service. It’s a shame. The food is so good.

Great addition to the Knoxville area! The ramen is amazing, but the omurice and the service is exceptional!

I ordered omurice and matcha pudding from doordash, I won't lie the egg was bland and lacking in flavor. The pudding was perfect!

Me and my GF went for lunch. I have a seafood allergie and let them know. They were totally accommodating and didn't make me feel bad for it. They advised me what items I could and couldn't eat and even allowed me to alter dishes to remove the seafood. Portion sizes were huge. And waitress checked on us multiple times. All around a great dining experience!

Me and my lady just wanted to leave a great review on the reastraunt and the server we had tonight we had suffered a loss in her family and without knowing this detail the server had such respect towards us that we just genuinely had the urge to appreciate them so thank you - will with pink hair
The atmosphere is SO cool. They have a huge wooden tree covered in little messages people have written on wooden tags. You can eat in a honeycomb pod. It was super packed when we went on a Thursday night, so we were only able to get bar seats, but it was cool watching the chefs cool and the lighting and design of everything was such a vibe. Their menu has so many unique options. We had a great time trying the honeycomb appetizer platter. The takoyaki was great, as was the shrimp tempura. We also split a bowl of the Tokyo Tonkotsu Shoyu ramen that came with a pork bar bun and a matcha pudding, all of which was incredible. And to top it off, the passion fruit boba tea was some of the best I've had. I would highly recommend coming here. It's a little expensive but it literally feels like walking into the heart of Tokyo in Knoxville. Very much worth your time, money, and appetite. There were so many good looking things on the menu, we will have to come back to try them all!

Waited over 30 minutes for a simple drink and we were the only people in the restaurant. When we did finally get our drinks they were terrible. Absolutely will not come back here. Overpriced and customer service is a zero.
