Cute little place. Plenty to choose from, whether you want something sweet or savory. Love that this place has more than just ice cream. Been here a couple times so far and both times were great.Tried banana split, pistachio ice cream, taki nachos, a shake… everything was pretty tasty.Parking: Pretty big parking lot, and it’s free to park.Kid-friendliness: Plenty on the menu for kids to pick from. Lots of indoor seating available, not sure if they have high chairs but plenty chairs for everyone including kids.

My boo and I absolutely ADORE this little ice-cream shop! Right over the river on the right-hand side, this is definitely a little hidden gem of Knoxville that I highly suggest to anyone, especially families, wanting to treat themselves for a little scoop of heaven!All of the ice cream flavors if I remember correctly, are created in-house and are all hand-made! The authentic flavors really are what make this ice cream store shine!*They’re truly a step above* Baskin Robbin’s or Brewster’s, and fast-food places like Sonic or McDonald’s can’t even hold a candle to this little hole in the wall, small business!! Bravo!!It’s about $11 to get two scoops each for two adults. They have a wide variety of flavors that you may try before you go for a whole scoop full.The large windows above the ice cream freezers allow you to see for yourselves the ingredients mixed in to create the creative flavors!You can choose waffle cone, cake cone, cups or shakes if I remember correctly.While I couldn’t decide on a favorite, my husband fell head over heels for their Rum Raisin flavor!It was made with real rum, real raisins, had a homemade texture and was definitely enough to ease his sweet tooth craving!They have a punch card for loyalty rewards, too!Definitely don’t miss out on this culinary experience while visiting downtown…it’s definitely worth a drive over the river!!The decor is quaint and memorable, reminiscent of old-style ice cream shops like a Perkins or other authentic, small-town chains. It will make a great backdrop to some fun family photos as you enjoy your treats!Parking: The ice cream shop shares a parking lot with the restaurant next door and a couple other businesses. We had no problem finding a free spot to park so that we could walk in and sit down to enjoy the cute atmosphere!Kid-friendliness: They have large windows for the children to see the ice cream, and the kids can try the flavors before making their final decision.

Worst customer service. They have no hygiene. I found a hair in my icecream and they weren’t wearing any hair nets. The prices are ridiculous too. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Before you go, compare their prices to the other La Michoacana on exit 379. They’re much cheaper and the quality is significantly better and they have MUCH BETTER customer service.

If I could give them zero stars i would. The worst customer service ever. I spent $30 dollars on four small items and i had asked for 3 extra spoons and they got mad about it and kicked me out of the store cause apparently i used too many spoons(3) and napkins AFTER SPENDING $30 dollars. I don’t know why they’re crying about 3 extras spoons and napkins which cost less than 10 cents. They keep the spoons behind the counter and if they can’t afford it then they shouldn’t have given me any Don’t spend a single penny there. They don’t deserve it. Instead check out La Michoacana on west hills
