I've been coming to this BBQ place for the past 20 years since I moved to Knoxville in 2005. This food has been a constant good in a changing town. It's been the same kind of good for two decades and has outlasted several other barbecue restaurants that talked big but delivered little. By virtue of deed and quality the default best BBQ in Knoxville!
This is by far the very best barbecue in Knoxville. We have tried many and M&M never lets us down. Big family event coming up this month and this will be at the center of one of our evening meals!!!
M&M is always delicious. So worth it if you haven't tried it, and it's a Black owned business.
The only thing I would say is that they douse everything in bbq sauce, so if you're going for wings or a sandwich and you'd like to control the amount of sauce yourself- or if you want dry ribs, you need to tell them that in advance. Either way, delicious but messy!
