Makino Japanese Buffet

The outside is very dated and inside is slightly dirtier than what I personally deem as acceptable since the cleanliness of a restaurant and bathrooms typically mirror the cleanliness of a kitchen.

The sushi was ok. The crab Rangoon and spring rolls were just ok as well.

What was disappointing was the service. I had to get my own plates for dinner, and our glasses stayed empty for quite a while. The waitress only checked in towards the end when the bill was due.

Sushi was alright, nothing crazy. Hibachi was pretty average tasting…my biggest thing is that when I went to the restroom, there was a cockroach just crawling around. Pretty disgusting to be honest.

My lunch experience was really good. Food tasted amazing. Time to first plate was fast. Server didn't get any refills, but was still good. Very nice value. Offers Military discount. Will be going back soon.

That was the freshest and best food we have had from a buffet in a while. It wasn’t self serve and you pick from a menu unlimited times (being mindful) and it was hot, fresh and delicious. We will come back

Walked in, nobody tried to help us! They just turned from what they whatever they were doing and stared at my wife and I! Never said a word, not" we'll be with you in a second " nothing. So we turned around and walked out. The place smelled funny and the buffet looked completely empty. Went to Yassins, always awesome there. Friendly staff and always delicious food!!!!

The food was good. My family really liked the sushi. It was gracious portions. Its also all you can eat. You order at your table and you do not go through a buffet line which I like. I will say if you order the salad with the ginger dressing, its a little stronger than expected. (Imo)

The food at Makino's Japanese Buffet was wonderful, with a wide variety of delicious options that lived up to expectations. However, the restaurant seemed a bit understaffed given how packed it was, which left the customer service feeling somewhat isolated. That said, when we were helped, the service was attentive and great. Overall, a good experience with room for improvement in staffing.

All you can eat and the food is good. It was $24+ drink and tip per person for dinner. The place is a bit run down but still good for a casual night out. They seamed a bit short staffed and said they were busy even though half of the tables were empty. They were working on togo orders so .... They had us check the items we wanted on a peice of paper. Then took it to the kitchen. When they brought our food they also set the papers back on the table looking like a two year old used it as a placement. Then if you want to order more you circle what you want and they take the papers back to the kitchen again. I feel like this is unsanitary. The food was good though....
