Leaving a review because the encounter has stuck in my mind. First time in the bar, bought by a friend a few weeks ago. I don’t mind dogs but there should be some kind of prominent notification in the bar that it is named after a dog and sometimes he’s just walking around unattended. There should be a sign posted that says that he might be walking around so people can decided if they want to enter or at least not be surprised when he shows up and gets in their personal space. Had a very strange encounter after a “random” (it was Monkey) dog came up to me and I shouted for someone to come get the dog. Everyone seemed to be friendly with the owner and knew about the dog, so they all just stared and laughed at me. This was when I noticed I was the only POC in the entire bar (this is just an observation, but this did add to my discomfort of being stared at). Then I had an uncomfortable conversation with the owner where she spent a good while telling me that “monkey runs this place” and she’s his “protector” and that he might come back. I wouldn’t have minded had I known, but you don’t know what people’s experiences with dogs are to just let him roam around unannounced. We finished our drinks quickly and went to Tern Club instead.

Fantastic cocktails and moktails. The moktails aren’t just juice and soda. Fantastic friendly bartenders. Cute dog

Local hangout with good drinks and beer selection. They have limited food but charcuterie board and Buffalo dip were very tasty+

I can't get enough, I'm still so thirsty for them. The bartender gnaty (I think was her name) fed me my drink like a momma bird. You can't find that kind of service at any other bar in Knoxville. Highly recommend.

Had a good first time experience although the gal working that night didn't seem too enthused to be working but maybe she just had a long day so I can understand that but overall had a good time and we will probably come

This is a great bar! I had the Watermelon Sugar High, which, frankly, is everything you could ever want in a cocktail. The service was fantastic and the bartenders friendly, and there's plenty of room for friends to gather in the cozy spaces that look out across the best parts of the Old City. Every drink was delicious and paired perfectly with the Good Golly we brought with us (iykyk). Five stars. Ten stars! A hundred stars!

Guy with mustache had a very unfriendly vibe, would not recommend!
Cute, dog friendly no-frills bar with laid back vibes. Woman owned. Safe space. Local hang out but still super welcoming. Kind energy. Clean bathrooms. Sometimes they have live music. Love this spot!

Came in for a drink. Bartenders did not acknowledge us. Went to bar for the menu and then back to bar to order our drinks. Female bartender seems as if she was not having a good day. No smile or thankfulness for customers .
