forget all of knoxville, this is the best diner i've ever been to period. the staff are always so kind, the food is perfection, and i always leave feeling like i'm going to have a good day. did i mention their pancakes are out of this world??? i don't know what they put in their batter, but i could eat them for breakfast every day. stop reading these reviews and go try it!!!

Comparable to a waffle hut, however rit is owned and operated by a local family, sat morning we were there 10 min before opening, and there was a line of locals outside waiting, woikd go back if in area.

Great food and service. I eat here every Saturday. They have the best biscuits and gravy in town.
This was our first time to eat here. My wife and I both had breakfast. 3 egg omelet and plate of biscuits and gravy. Wow you will love it. The waiter was so friendly. Wake up and go to nick @ jays restaurant.

On our way through town and asked a friend where the locals go - this was it! Amazing food! Amazing service! Come to find out that the owners son is a HUGE Buckeyes fan! I knew that I felt it as soon as I walked up!!
We had so much fun eating lunch here! The owners are delightful! The hamburgers are out of this world. The French fries are the best we’ve ever had and just to end it with a scrumptious banana pudding. Worth every calorie! Can’t wait to return when we are back in town!!!!

5 stars all the way around! Everytime we come through from Alabama this is the ONLY place we stop in Knoxville. This past weekend we stopped going up to Gatlinburg and coming back. Wonderful people and delicious food and a family atmosphere! This is what a family owned business is all about!!!!

Lovely lovely lovely little restaurant. Average fare but wonderful employees. The cash register lady was friendly and helpful and even got me to purchase two pieces of their walnut baklava! (*Spoiler alert - It was absolutely delicious). Will be back!
