O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar

I stopped into O’Charley’s on this snowy Saturday afternoon when nearly every place in busy Turkey Creek was closed, and I could not have been more impressed. Only three staff members were able to make it in through the weather, yet the manager Kris, the cook Gary, and the server Reanna worked together seamlessly to run the entire restaurant. Reanna was serving, greeting, and bartending all at once, and still managed to be friendly, attentive, and efficient.

Even with the short staff, our food came out quickly and everything was excellent. They accidentally brought me the wrong dish, and although I insisted that I was happy to eat it, they still made sure I also received the meal I originally ordered. The restaurant was clean, service was outstanding, and the team showed a level of professionalism and customer care that is rare even on a normal day.

Huge appreciation to Kris, Gary, and Reanna for going above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and taken care of.

The best thing about this place is the cocktails are cheap. Definitely don’t expect anything more. It’s slop priced up for a restaurant setting. Never order Togo or DoorDash from here the Togo people and servers will completely ignore you while the food is getting cold in the back.

Employees here will straight up ignore you when picking up a Togo order. The best thing about this place is the bar.

Stopped to eat here despite the bad reviews because I was craving some potato soup and rolls. Walked inside and had to turn around and walk out bc the smell made me gag. Something is wrong with the sewer system and it smells like a dirty diaper as soon as you walk in. Please fix. Now I understand why the parking lot was empty.

I feel so bad to leave this review, but y’all gotta do something about the horrible smell. It smelled like sewer inside. Kept getting whiffs of it at our seats and had to leave.

Wife ordered 6oz sirloin medium was well done. I ordered 12oz sirloin medium rare came rare did not complain due to in restaurants you don't send food back bad things happen from experience.
Price was overrated over priced as all restaurants are since c-19. Also since covid service now sux in the kitchens wait staff.
Eating out is too much when before covid a couple could eat out at a decent price now even at a fast food is 30.00

Emma the server was extremely kind and hospitable! Very attentive but not overwhelming:) I really loved the drinks the Becca made me too! The staff is all super kind and very friendly:)

The waiter was slow to come take our orders and the food took forever to get to us .. then once we got our orders she never came threw to check if we needed refills or anything!! it was my mother's birthday so it was a lot of people at our table I ordered a alcoholic drink and it took forever for it to show up our she wasn't friendly at all ..she could have received a great tip that night had her customer service skills been a lot better ...ol Charley's is where we have always went and celebrated our family's birthdays but this time it was really bad and we're unsure if we want to continue our tradition or start going someplace else

I hope that Chris Burns will see this post. I have so left a message at his office. It is 2:10pm Thursday my husband and I attempted to have a late lunch. We stood in foyer and looked at Silent Auction Items for 6-8 minutes, without being approached by any Oh Charley's Staff. We walked into dining room and bar area, looked to see if bar tender was possibly on hostess duty; but no bar tender. Two additional servers came out double doors, central to bar, they never acknowledged we were standing there, making eye contact. They went back to re-stocking items, cleaning empty booth seats and tables. We chose the first booth to left. We Sat for 3-4 minutes when two ladies that had finished lunch, and had also
Made eye contact with us approached our table and said, they had the same problem when they came in to be seated. We stood to leave at same time a different employee, a 30 something lady, dressed like a manager came from double doors carrying boxes . She did not recognize either. Finally at 2:20 pm we walked out and went o Calhouns where they happily waited on us.
We chose Oh Charley's because one of my students father was just employed as a cook at Downtown West location. I wanted to give back a gesture of kindness, like the local franchise had initiated by hiring a head of household father that badly needed a job.
Too bad employees are either not intuitive enough or just do not care or realize two live bodies waiting to be seated equated to job security. Did I mention they may have been distracted by their phones that were held securely in left had while they clumsily reset their seating area.

Jessica was Awesome!! Not only did she seat me at my table, but she was also my waitress. Extremely friendly and polite. The only negative thing I would have to say is that the catfish used to be a lot bigger.

This is the second time we have gave this location a chance. The service is absolutely terrible. The drinks are okay. The food died in the window. Every place in turkey creek had people waiting in the parking lot. Except O’ Charley’s. That’s the reason why. Sunday after church is always busy….

The best staff ever. Thank you Becca J for the great service at the bar. The potato skins were fantastic. The meatloaf was really good also. Becca made a fantastic Bahama moma. The pricing was very reasonable.

O'Charleys is a fun place to eat. Everyone is smiling and the food is served quickly and is yummy.
