1st timers! We loved the venue, the staff was great. We had the Nachos! Excellent!
We saw the Janis Joplin Experience! Amazing!!!
Great venue and food
Not a welcoming atmosphere or staff.. even when youre the only person in there. As soon as you walk in. Drink was a little overpriced but the food seemed tasty. Because of the staff I didnt stay but long enough to have 1 drink. Decided to go somewhere else.
Don’t waste your money on “VIP” seating. The tables are placed on one side, leaving the floor open for everyone to crowd in, blocking your view. You can still hear the music and he a glance of those on stage, but this is not vip seating as they sell them
Great place for live and sometimes local music. Supports local musicians with a nice music store. Bar and food.
Great staff! Good venue!
This was a great place. We seen faster pussycat there it was amazing show the sound was so awesome enjoyed it very much...hope to see them again there will make another road trip...
Got hot very quick. Also security sucks or shall I say there is none. People just walk into the bands equipment area and they have to work around them or tell them to get out. One guy ran and jumped on stage and the band had to tell him no during the faster pussycat show. The place is a joke. The only reason I give it two stars is the bar tenders are good otherwise I wouldn’t give them one.
Great smallish venue with very friendly staff!
Great location.. Amazing bands often... Good food.. Decent prices.. Music shop connected... Fantastic addition to West Knox

Open Chord is a great place to hang out and listen to live music. Their sound guys are fantastic and the music always sounds great whether its a professional band or an open mic night. And speaking of open mic night, if you haven't been to one of Open Chords open mics, you should definitely fix that. There are always some fantastic acts and Chris Marshall is the host with the most! They also have some pretty great food, which makes it a great place to have a date night or just chill and enjoy some good tunes. And it's great for seeing professional acts, too, because it is a very intimate setting so meeting the bands afterwards is usually pretty easy! It is my favorite place to see live music in Knoxville.
Fun evening. Small intimate setting.
Great venue great staff!
Great venue, knowledgeable staff, professional atmosphere
I have been 2x. It seem like it could be ok, but there is a ventilation problem in there and it's hot. I cannot say I enjoyed smelling people with poor hygeine I'm a close area last night at a show. They seem to add bands you didn't initially sign up for when you bought your ticket so you have no choice. Drinks are expensive including water and a tiny fountain sprite Expensive/ Hit or miss is my opinion. I prob won't be back. Sad since it has potential and a history in the area. Maybe it is a Knoxville thing?
