There's a new food menu that has good options beyond pub grub... Salads, wraps, etc. The food is good. Beer options were ok. I tasted several. There is a good variety. I wasn't completely bowled over this time but I'm sure they change frequently. I'll be back to try others. They have cider and wine options. Good atmosphere. They were busy on Friday evening but service was good and food came out quicker than expected. Worth the trip.
I have zero intention on going back here. While I will give them 5 stars for food, beer, and atmosphere, I will not be ok with this establishment telling its workers, to tell others, freedom of speech is not allowed. Everyone is moving to Knoxville for a better life while escaping the socialist and overpriced system they most likely voted for. While ruining it for the Tennesseans who are simply trying to get by.
I am a military son of an air force retiree…20 years mind you. I gre up up on a military base and give thanks/credit where is is due… My Great Grandfather- who is buried in Arlington National Cemetery, and my Uncle who flew rescue helicopter missions in Vietnam, did not fight to be silenced, and definitely did not fight to silence others. If I cannot speak my mind which is protected under the first amendment, then I will no longer support their smallish brewery.
Remember, the Nazis and the Commies both did as they were told because of comfort and brainwashed ideologies. I refuse to say yes and I refuse to repeat history just because someone from Cali moved here to give us beer. Which btw, Orange hat has many supporters who are from out of state, super awesome, but they will not tell me what I can and cannot say, who I vote fire and who I cheer for.Hopefully customers will listen and use discernment.
It’s not just about Subarus, trucks, family vans, senior citizens, dogs and family gatherings while getting drunk watching a UT game. It’s about showing support because we have the freedom to do so, and that includes free speech. This is their loss.
God rest Charlie Kirk, and bless our President Donald J. Trump. Leave Knoxville, TN if you don’t like it here. This is not hard to understand.
The new kitchen at OHBC is marvelously delicious!!! The selection of flatbreads rock! My favorite is the Bruschetta Bliss that is in the photo! They also catered to people that are sober and they amazing mocktails! I can’t list my favorite bartender the rest of them good boy to me! lol
Decided to try out Orange Hat’s Tennessee Football Watch Party for the 1st home game of the season. We found a table next to 1 of the 3 screens in the brewery. My wife asked one of the bartenders if we could change the tv we could see to the TN game she got told no because there was ONE Kentucky fan there that wanted to watch the Kentucky game during an advertised UT Watch Party. Unfortunately, we had already ordered food and beer. We finished the beer/food and decided to leave halfway through the 1st quarter to go finad somewhere to catch the game. This was an easy fix for the business but they made it difficult instead. Messed up one of my game day Saturdays for no reason for one Kentucky fan. Can’t say I’ll be back anytime soon……
Went to OHB today for their watch party for the UT vs ESTU. We ordered beers and food and found a seat near 1 of 3 viewing areas. At game time, the UT game was not on so one of our party requested the channel be changed. The (presumed) manager declined the request because there was a single UK fan watching another game. In a bar with limited viewing options, >100 UT fans, 1 UK fan, located in Knoxville, it seemed like an easy solution to us. We missed most of the first quarter when finally enough of other UT fans requested the change that we had success. Ironically, the same guy that denied us at first had to help another employee to change it over. At that point however, we were disappointed enough by the error that we closed out and went 2 min down the road to double dogs where we had a great time.
In an SEC town, advertising a UT watch party, I think it’s unwise to make decisions like this. In Knoxville we have so many wonderful options for breweries and bars. We were looking for place to watch games all season. This left a bad enough taste in our mouths to not return. Hopefully, they can work out the kinks moving forward.
Fabulous beer selection!
So my wife and I went here the first time yesterday 07/05/25. We had an amazing experience there. Great beers, great staff- 10 out of 10 -really enjoyed it. definitely will be back to enjoy the different beers, and as a sidenote, I want to give a big shout out to Rodney-he really went above and beyond in helping us out a big thank you to him and the staff. If you haven’t gone, you’re missing out. This is a place to go and have a great beer with some great people.

The atmosphere was great!
Great beer selection and cocktails as well as a food truck outside. Loads of seating
Great meeting place for varied craft beers. 10-place natural wood bar with wooden chairs and foot-rail. High ceiling disperses mellow music at near conversation-friendly level (75dBa). One silent video display with golf. Inside picnic tables and tall tables. Outside patio tables with shade umbrellas and live music at times.
Lively place with on-style beers.
Our neighborhood brewery. We love the beer, atmosphere, community, and food truck variety here. Keep doing it right!
Their beer selection is fantastic, not just overloaded with sours and IPAs. I will definitely go back. The red ale is one of the best I’ve had in a long time.
