Just left after ordering drinks and food - waited 35 minutes, no food was delivered - completly ignored with literally 3 employees visible and 4 people at bar (customers)
I don't think I'm overly picky... but....

Wings are hard as a rock. Could not eat them and waited 45 minutes. Poor service and bad food. Wouldn’t go back.

The breakfast was great. Biscuits and gravy were great. The King Cake (pancakes) were also delicious. Service was outstanding. Lisa was funny and attentive.

I'm basing this on an experience from April 2024, so if there's a new chef, please reply and I'll aim to update my review soon. But I had a dismal experience here where my dining mate's food came out a solid hour late, and my food was served in a strangely shaped dish that made it difficult to eat. The dish itself was supposedly jerk chicken, and while it didn't taste bad, it had no flavors that anyone would associate with jerk chicken.

If I was to just talk about the food, this would be a four or five star review. Everything food wise was amazing. I recommend the steak frites— But the other parts of the experience make it where I have to only give it three stars. It was hard to find, and when we arrived, it was not labeled as the tavern and the hostess didn't know that was the name. As far as signage, the restaurant is called drink and dine. She had to ask the bartender if we were in the right place. One seated, the service was also lackluster, she brought no condiments to the table even though one of us ordered a burger and when asked for A1, she disappeared for a long while and returned to say they were out. Again, not offering any other condiments as options or substitutes. And once the bill arrived, it was obvious the pricing was hotel prices, even though the restaurant is not listed as being in or part of the hotel nearby. Again, it's a good thing the food was good.

We celebrated a birthday dinner here on a Saturday night. We were very disappointed in our experience. The server was not knowledgeable about the menu, and they were out of 2 of the 7 entree items ( salmon and duck). We arrived dressed in business casual per their website only to find that this is simply the hotel bar restaurant with guests dressed in tshirts and shorts. Our server was not attentive and the bar took a long time to fill our drink orders. While the food was good, it was not worth the price and the wine menu was terrible. It might be fine for a quick bite if you’re staying at the hotel, but as a local, I will not be back.

Unfortunately I won't be going back. Food and drinks were fine, but the overall service and attitude of wait staff made us feel uncomfortable and we were ready to get out of there. For a $100+, we were pretty disappointed in how we were treated.

We had a great time with the large group and the service hit the target smoothly and completely. A wide array of food for many different dietary needs were fully delivered and at the same time. Kudos for a job well done. Flavors were good. Styles of cuisine are both local and varied with local flare.

Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant, hands-down it took 38 minutes for the server to even acknowledge. We were sitting at the table and then took another 20 minutes to get our first rounds of drinks. The food was absolutely disgusting the the duck confit mac & cheese tasted like it came straight out of a microwave. There are much better places in Knoxville to spend $120 for dinner. Don’t waste your money.

I couldn’t decide which was worse, the service or the food. The fruit flies at my table were unwelcome company. The table beside me was full of dirty dishes yet to be bussed when I was seated and when I left they were still there… probably the source of the fruit flies tbh. The drinks were the best part of my experience, until a fruit fly landed in it. All in all I have eaten at Waffle Houses that were cleaner and had better service & food. I would take someone here if I wanted them to hate me.

Had a couple drinks at the bar & ordered food to- go. Limited draft beer selection, but it was a good variety. Highly recommend the smoked wings & deviled eggs. The wings are not breaded & have a sweet & smoky sauce with a small amount of spice. Had everything packaged nicely with condiments & silverware. If I'm back in the area, I will eat here again.

Food was good but has to much spice. Menu should allow for plain vs. Seasoned. There are still some people who don't do spice.
