The breakfast potatoes seem mushy (over cooked) but are not crispy like they are prepared a day or so akead of time and just heated up per order. They are unappetizing to me. The toast is always very lightly toasted. While the food arrives quickly, it seems to be at the expense of quality. There was no problem with the eggs or breakfast meat. Maybe the servers could give the option of darker toast and crispy potatoes for people who aren't aware of how they are usually prepared.

What sweet staff they have in here!! So helpful. I ordered a tuna melt on white and it's amazing!! Cheeseburger is so tasty and done perfectly. But let me tell you about the lemon pie! To die for! Homemade ? pie is my favorite ever! Sad I missed breakfast but I bet the biscuits were delicious. Wish we were staying in town longer so we could come back!! ?

We stopped for breakfast, fully expecting to sit for forty-five minutes. to an hour. We were done eating and out the door in 16 minutes. Our server was fantastic. She served with a smile the whole time. The food was on the table amazingly fast and tasted homemade. Some of the best food I've had! I was surprised by how good the price was! Definitely would eat here again. If you're looking for a nice, clean, family restaurant with an old school feel. This is the place to go!!

Great little spot close to downtown! Friendly atmosphere and great service with excellent food as well. If your visiting K-town then make sure to drop by and enjoy some southern hospitality.

One of the best American diners I've been to. All the staff were incredibly kind and I barely waited on anything even with the place packed. Highly recommend anyone in the area check it out.

Visiting Knoxville for an event and I couldn’t be more happy with this breakfast. I own two restaurants back home in Naples FL, and I gotta say: Pete’s is outstanding.Breakfast bowl was so good that I had to get a BLT to-go for lunch.

Very busy but enjoyed the food. The time between placing the order and receiving the food was not bad considering how busy it was. The wait to be seated was a little bit but felt longer when you wait outside in the cold. If you are someone who feels a little uncomfortable being in a crowded place, you may want to wait for a time when it's not too busy.... When that time is? I don't know. It's a popular place to eat at and every time I've been there it's been busy.I would recommend going if you haven't already.
