Great drinks, great environment, nice outdoor seating, mostly good staff.
The other night one staff member with pink hair was exceptionally rude and disrespectful. She stood behind the bar and did nothing (literally, nothing. Would not even look us in the eye) while her coworker helped the half a dozen people waiting. She started closing the outside seating before 1030 on a Friday while it was busy and a bunch of people still had drinks in their hands. Post closes at 11 on Fridays. She was snappy, told us to get up and that they’re were closing early, and literally took the chairs out of under people. It was really weird and rude. There were still a bunch of people inside the bar getting drinks and sitting outside with drinks in hand. I asked her a question and she completely ignored me. I didn’t see her make a drink the entire night I was there. I didn’t see her speak to any of the customers. Not sure why she’s a staff member, honestly. Generally the crew there is really fun, a lot of the girls are great to chat with.
It’s a great bar, great drinks, and generally very pleasant staff and environment. Five stars except for the lady with pink hair.
The drinks are amazing! Bartenders are really great and the atmosphere is laid back and comfortable!
Best Rye on Rocks ( ask for a solid big cube) you’re gonna get in TN. And my girl got the cocktail Back Woods Barbie she said it was yummy and it kind of taste like frosting. Nice Patio out front to enjoy the sun. Cheers!
Started our adventure on the TN Whiskey Trail and this was our 1st stop. Tried their Watermelon Waltz cocktail, which was perfectly balanced and was so refreshing! Could get some of the gin flavor pulling through. My husband tried the New Fashioned, which also had a great balance and was enjoyable. Our son ordered a whiskey flight which they currently had 5 kinds. Can't say that he was very impressed with most of them. I found a few of them lacking flavor and bite. To be honest, all 3 of us agreed that our favorite was the Rock 'n Rye which is a collaboration with Tupelo Honey. It is packing so much flavor that we ended up buying a bottle for the house! I can honestly say that we will definitely go back for a refreshing gin cocktail in the near future!
We are traveling and we have this awesome passport for the whiskey trail. We get there on a Sunday and their hours were from noon to 9 pm we get there at 8 pm and there was a note on the door saying that sorry we closed at 6 today. My mum and I were very upset that we were not able to try this places drinks and get the stamp for our passport.
2nd time visiting recently and it was amazing again! Last time I tried the whiskeys but this time it was all about the liqueurs. They were fantastic! As a fan of bitter, strong, herbal flavors I loved them. Perfect for me straight but for others, they would be great in cocktails. Also, my brother was the dd and they made him some wonderful nonalcoholic cocktails. Amazing staff and amazing products! Strong reccomend!
A must try when visiting Knoxville! We did a tour and tasting, and the owner was exceedingly kind and knowledgeable. By afar the best spirits tour and tasting we’ve done in Knoxville. Cannot recommend this experience enough!
An amazing tasting experience. We had a great time with Ron who was very knowledgeable and eager to share all there is about the spirits. The tasting was allencompassing and we found the variety of spirits very enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone in Knoxville to come and do a tasting/tour.
I really want to love this place. I can't think of another local distillery I've been to that creates almost every classic liquor genre. The alpino and wormwood are particularly good and the fernet is very memorable. Not everything quite works of course, and the gins and whisky contain a fusel oil or other distillation byproduct I find noticeably distracting. But temper your expectations and treat the tasting room as a tasting room, or as a very experimental cocktail lounge. It's a great idea to have a distillery make every ingredient--it also allows you to get around the usual liquor laws. PM gives it a really good run, but there's no way to compete with a dedicated cocktail bar. But as a tasting room or experimental cocktail bar, it's magical. Some drinks are genuinely excellent--the Terry's martini is a winner--while others, like the gin fizz, are genuinely weird. Constructive suggestion: add a vermouth and bitter red aperitivo to the lineup for additional flexibility and take a smaller heads cut.
$10 cocktails (low cost but high quality and thoughtful) and very friendly/knowledgeable staff. Not a lot of seating when it’s too cold for the patio.

This is a lovely downtown distillery where you can taste an abundance of different local spirits. There's an exceptional variety to choose from. What's brought me here to write this review, though, is to give a big shout out to the bartender Drew. She is a sweet and authentic woman that works super hard. Talking to her made my day, and I look forward to many more conversations with her. Her creativity with art and mixology is delightful to experience. If you check this place out, I hope you're lucky enough to have her make you a drink. Cheers!
Cocktails were good but rude server took the fun out of it.
One of my favorite cocktail bars in town. The staff treats you very well by being their genuine selves. If you have questions you get straight answers. The drinks are creative and damn good pours. They don’t skimp on the tasters either. Highly recommended all their products. The aperitifs and amaro, while loosely modeled on the ones you may know, are truly their own. Same with their gins.
I really loved this distillery. The prices were reasonable for the tastings and their whiskey, gin and mixers were very tasty and smooth. Felicia was a great bartender and was very entertaining and knowledgeable. Her recommendations were spot on and the New Old Fashioned was perfect. I will need to plan a vacation and bring my significant other there. He would really enjoy the experience. Highly recommend you stop in and see Felicia.
Fantastic drinks... Friendly staff! Caleb and Stan were great. The tour and tasting gets 3 thumbs up!
