Post Modern is a Knoxville gem. The staff are so nice and inviting, and very talented. The drinks are killer, definitely my favorite in town! They change their specials up a lot, and the drinks are always really interesting and delicious and fun. I’ve also purchased many of the spirits they make themselves, and they’re sooo good. I highly recommend this wonderful place!

Absolute hidden gem in the old city. Their cocktails are all creative and the atmosphere is one of a kind! Emily, Lizzie, and Leslie are all amazing bartenders and are the reason I keep coming back.

One of the best places for cocktails and locally made liquor in town. The cacao liquor is great in just about anything.

What a wonderful hidden gem. My lady and I each had different cocktails, both fantastic. Good spin on typical straightforward names. Definitely a stop in that’s worth it

Passed by while on a walk and was intrigued by the cocktail offerings so decided to stop in. I sat down at the bar and after a few minutes the bartender comes over and asks if I wanted anything, but he said it with such contempt that I immediately knew I wasn't going to spend my money there. At least try & hide your disgust for people you think are beneath you. Clearly not my vibe ✌️

If you were looking for a really great laid-back atmosphere to enjoy cocktails, this is the place to go.

They have a local vibe, and the bartenders are as nice as they are skilled in their drink making. They always have a new cocktail on rotation to try, and have a variety of options, if you’re looking to expand your palette. Because the bartenders are that good, they can help mix a drink based on your preferences!

I have brought out of town friends here who have enjoyed it as much as I do as a local. They have ample outdoor seating. They are dog friendly.

I have come here on my Fridays after work and enjoy a cocktail before going home. But I’ve also come here after a wedding with friends to enjoy a nightcap.

And, their gin making class is outstanding! I highly recommend gifting it when they offer it. My husband and I are big gin fans, so was the perfect gift for our anniversary to enjoy.

The other night one staff member with pink hair was exceptionally rude and disrespectful. She stood behind the bar and did nothing (literally, nothing. Would not even look us in the eye) while her coworker helped the half a dozen people waiting. She started closing the outside seating before 1030 on a Friday while it was busy and a bunch of people still had drinks in their hands. Post closes at 11 on Fridays. She was snappy, told us to get up and that they’re were closing early, and literally took the chairs out of under people. It was really weird and rude. There were still a bunch of people inside the bar getting drinks and sitting outside with drinks in hand. I asked her a question and she completely ignored me. I didn’t see her make a drink the entire night I was there. I didn’t see her speak to any of the customers. Not sure why she’s a staff member, honestly. Generally the crew there is really fun, a lot of the girls are great to chat with.

It’s a great bar, great drinks, and generally very pleasant staff and environment. Five stars except for the lady with pink hair.

Best Rye on Rocks ( ask for a solid big cube) you’re gonna get in TN. And my girl got the cocktail Back Woods Barbie she said it was yummy and it kind of taste like frosting. Nice Patio out front to enjoy the sun. Cheers!

Started our adventure on the TN Whiskey Trail and this was our 1st stop. Tried their Watermelon Waltz cocktail, which was perfectly balanced and was so refreshing! Could get some of the gin flavor pulling through. My husband tried the New Fashioned, which also had a great balance and was enjoyable. Our son ordered a whiskey flight which they currently had 5 kinds. Can't say that he was very impressed with most of them. I found a few of them lacking flavor and bite. To be honest, all 3 of us agreed that our favorite was the Rock 'n Rye which is a collaboration with Tupelo Honey. It is packing so much flavor that we ended up buying a bottle for the house! I can honestly say that we will definitely go back for a refreshing gin cocktail in the near future!

We are traveling and we have this awesome passport for the whiskey trail. We get there on a Sunday and their hours were from noon to 9 pm we get there at 8 pm and there was a note on the door saying that sorry we closed at 6 today. My mum and I were very upset that we were not able to try this places drinks and get the stamp for our passport.
