I wish I could give everything 5 stars. The food was on point. My server was great besides his attitude. You could tell he didn't want to be there. We all have those days. What was extremely off-putting during my meal was hearing almost every server complain about their job there. For an over an hour all I heard was how nobody gets enough tables per section, to many servers on at once, they don't make enough and it went on. It is the story of us allwho work in this industry, but in a work setting those things should not be heard by the guest. I only heard one positive girl the whole time. I will be back and I hope I have more enjoyable atmosphere.

Overall, a good experience, but disappointed we had to sit at a high top bar counter, even though I made reservations for 4, the day before. That's rather frustrating as I was entertaining real estate clients and would have expected an actual table when making a reservation. Otherwise, everything was just fine.

February 2026: We went back and tried it again. A big thanks to the management and shout out to Jess. Lorae was our server and we really liked her. I’ve included a picture of one of the dishes called the Steak Bowl. My man loved it! I’m definitely going back.
March 2025: Had a terrible experience at Stir Knoxville on my birthday. We were attacked by fruit flies. We didn’t eat the food and couldn’t get out of there quick enough. We probably left 10 mins after we got the food. The food took a very long time to come out and the restaurant was empty. The insects were landing in our food. It was disgusting. I emailed the GM. Never got a return email. It was a total waste of time, money, and a special occasion. 🤮🤮

Visited STIR for the first time today. The food was amazing, the service was spectacular and the atmosphere was perfect for a business lunch. I look forward to returning for Happy Hour then dinner. Their bar looks fantastic and I’m sure the dinner menu won’t disappoint. Another example of a GREAT Knoxville restaurant.

Visited STIR recently and had a great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is stylish and inviting, with a modern edge that still feels warm and comfortable. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design, and it makes for a great setting whether you are there for lunch or dinner.
The service was excellent. Our server was friendly, attentive, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu, which made ordering easy and enjoyable. The drink selection stood out right away, with an impressive list of cocktails, bourbon, and wine.
Food was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Everything we ordered felt well balanced, thoughtfully prepared, and satisfying without being heavy. Portions were just right, and each dish tasted as good as it looked.
Overall, a great spot for a relaxed yet elevated dining experience, and definitely a place I would return to.
