Take Out Thyme just did an outstanding job for a special luncheon for over 50 people at my church. Their communications, service, delivery and best of all delicious quality food was all top notch. They were a pleasure to work with on this event, even taking special care to prepare a separate boxed lunch for a guest with severe and unique food allergies. I will be recommending them to others and using them again.

Take Out Thyme absolutely blew us — and our guests — away! Hands down the best wedding food we’ve ever had, and we’re not just saying that because it was our own. Months later, people are STILL talking about how incredible the food was — it’s honestly one of the first things guests bring up when reminiscing about our big day!

Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. From appetizers to the main course, everything tasted homemade, elevated, and full of love. The menu was thoughtful, creative, and catered perfectly to our style and guests’ preferences.

Not only was the food outstanding, but the team was also a dream to work with — professional, warm, and on top of everything. They made the whole experience feel seamless and stress-free.

The absolute best!! Everything they made was absolutely delicious, we still have guests telling us that we had the best food that they have ever had at a wedding. We did the pasta bar and it did not disappoint. Kevin and his team made sure we had everything we wanted, and even had our plates ready for us when we sat to eat. We had more than enough food for amazing leftovers the next day, and Kevin and his team made my husband and I our own boxes that we ate later on our wedding night. We cannot recommend them enough, they are the best!

The ham and cheese sliders are great, the sweet and sour meatballs are fantastic, and the shrimp cocktail was the best shrimp cocktail I have ever had. For dinner we did strawberry spinach salad, parmesan crusted chicken, pork loin, mashed potatoes, green beans, mac and cheese, and rolls. Not a single guest had anything bad thing to say about the food- everything was great. We had 200 guest and had it buffet style and even the last tables to be served had food that was steaming. Hot, quick, and delicious. Couldn't ask for better!

I occasionally do BBQ-style catering and needed a couple of pans of mac and cheese. On a whim, I did a quick Google search and came across this place.

I reached out through their website and worked out most of the details with Kevin over email. Since I hadn’t done business with them before, I asked him to give me a call to finalize everything—he did, and he was incredibly gracious and easy to work with.

When I arrived at the scheduled time, everything was ready and waiting. I was a bit concerned about the quality and flavor, but the mac and cheese was absolutely delicious.

I’d definitely recommend them and look forward to ordering again.

My wife and I have worked with a lot of catering vendors, and Take Out Thyme is hands down one of the best. The food is always fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. It makes such a difference when a catering team is professional and efficient, and they consistently deliver top-tier service. When my now wife and i started planning our wedding, we were very worried about catering options in knoxville and if we would find one that could do everything we wanted, and we came across Take Out Thyme and wow they blew it out of the water! Everyone is still talking about the food and how amazing they did with the meats. Everything was well seasoned and just out right delicious! The mashed potatoes were delightful. The service was so amazing and i will forever refer anyone planning a wedding or event to them! Thank you all so much!

Take Out Thyme was a very yummy choice for our wedding. Our guests even two months after our wedding continue to talk about how good our food was at the wedding. Would definitely recommend their catering service for any event or large gathering.

Take Out Thyme provided delicious appetizers for our cocktail-style reception! Our favorite was the seafood-stuffed mushrooms, and our guests especially loved the sweet & sour meatballs and marinated cheese. Kevin was so friendly, responsive, and easy to work with, and even provided allergen information so we could help our guests with dietary restrictions make informed choices. Highly recommend for any event.

I cannot recommend Take Out Thyme enough! They are fantastic with communication which is so helpful when planning a wedding. They went above and beyond taking care of everything. And the food is delicious! We got so many compliments on the food. I’m so glad we hired them to cater our wedding!

Kevin and his team prepared the best, freshest meal for our wedding. Each bite was flavorful and delectable. The staff working our wedding was also very polite. We are receiving so many compliments on this being the best wedding food our guests have had, so compliments to the chef!
