We were passing through and decided to stop since we no longer have a Shoney’s in our hometown. The food was great , service was great, and my kids loved getting to try their first hot fudge cake!

Based on the reviews, Shoney's of Knoxville, Inc. Corporate Office is no longer a restaurant, but the people there are very kind and friendly and can point customers to the closest Shoney's. The food at the restaurants is amazing, with great people. It is a great place to get that down home country cooking, with a breakfast bar, lunch and dinner, hot veggies, soups, and 4 to 5 different variety of meat options. The fried catfish is hand dipped and served with fresh starter sauce. The food and service are great, and kids love getting to try their first hot fudge cake. However, at one location, a lady was cleaning the glass above the bar while food was still being served, which would violate corporate policies and Health Department regulations.
