We enjoyed the drinks and the agreed tofu appetizer. The service was great, but the sushi left allot to be desired. The rolls were loose and many cuts of the roll we're too large to be one bite, or just inconsistent in general. The nigiri was completely off balance... The size of the cut of fish for every piece we ordered (2 PCs each of salmon & yellowtail) was enough for 3 servings of nigiri... It was just too large and too much. The fish was fresh, but the balance of the bites was off for us.

My wife heard great things about this restaurant and we drove across town to experience it. It lived up to the hype and even surpassed it. Incredible and friendly staff, fantastic food, and an overall wonderful evening. We will be back. I highly recommend Tangerine!

Tangerine is by far my favorite Japanese restaurant. The sushi is fresh and enjoy trying new ones. The hibachi is a favorite for me while the grandkids go for the teriyaki.

We have been coming here for years, possibly over a decade. This is one of best sushi restaurants in Knoxville. They always have the freshest cuts of fish, portions are a good size, prices are fair based on market value. We typically only do take out, but the dinning room has a cozy feel with Asian decor and would be a nice place for a quiet meal. Front of house staff are pleasant and friendly. Definitely recommend Tangerine!

A quiet dining place with excellent service and excellent food. The TGIF sushi roll is phenomenal. WONDERFUL prices too, very reasonable. Will return.
