I've traveled all across the US (as you can see in past reviews) and I've ate all along the Mexican border. LH is one of the best and most authentic Mexican experiences you can. They have some of the best Mexican food in knoxville. Try the quesa tacos. It is a food truck though so you're going to have to get it to go.
The best tacos in Knoxville! It is closest to the cart tacos I had in Alcapulco when I visited as a child. They are a little on the smaller side (true street tacos), but they are PACKED with flavor and protein. Price is hard to beat(2.29$ ea), especially when other restaurants in town skimp on the meat and flavor but charge 4-7$ a taco. Don't skip this hidden gem (I have for 4 years until today, I regret never coming sooner). I will not go anywhere else for my taco craving...

Neat was a tad chewy/old.
Not much of an atmosphere obviously since it's parked at a gas station, but I'm not looking for atmosphere from these places.
Could do better on tacos though.
