This is my wife and I’s favorite cocktail place. Always on the list of places we NEED to go to each time we visit Knoxville. Always a fun and inviting place environment.
One of my favorite bars in Knoxville and ranks up there highly with all the places I travel. Interesting drinks, cozy atmosphere, a mixed crowd so I don’t feel out of place with my mid-twenties kids when they want to hang out with mom for an evening. With so many choices in Knoxville, this is a good place for great drinks.

The Tern Club offers a spectacular selection of delicious and flavorful cocktails, including paloma, hotel nacional, Mai Tai, Great Gazoo, and zombie, all expertly crafted by their awesome bartenders. The vintage atmosphere is complemented by comfortable seating, both indoors and outdoors, and reasonable prices. This vibrant and inviting establishment is a favorite among locals and visitors alike. The people working there are extremely kind and thoughtful, offering great hospitality. The bar has a really cool relaxed aesthetic with a great atmosphere and decoration, and they have very good drinks for each season. Guests can sit where they like, with seating outback and outside in front. The full bar means they can make anything, not only just on the menu. The Cubano is fabulous flavor, but a small appetizer. However, it is loud, and they desperately need to install some sound absorption tiles. The staff, including management, stopped by every 10-15 minutes to check on guests.
