Came across this hidden gem recently and it finally worked-out to try it (I'm not often in Cedar Bluff around lunchtime).

It narrowed it down to their meatloaf and the honey chicken sandwich. Opted for the honey chicken sandwich and was not disappointed. Got a grit fritter as a side and it was great. Sweet tea was good and I happened to dine on "free dessert Wednesday." Got the banana pudding, which contained some Reese's.

Plenty of seating, nice/clean restaurant and bathrooms. Definitely will be back and will.be bringing some friends!

I found the perfect burger place, the chef's table, which sounded expensive but wasn't and has unreal amazing food with unreal desert selection and they even give a free dessert to people the first time they eat here

The burger I had was better than the one at Texas Roadhouse, Calhoun's, and even Peyton's place

I usually hate salad because of lettuce, but theirs has spinach instead and I didn't even wind up using my dressing it was so good

I was able to get feta cheese on it and it was broken up small and perfect and all over my burger just right

I meant to put ketchup but it was so good I didn't

The crazy thing? 12:59 after tax

I can't imagine how they got a single review under five stars, I dropped some food on the table and picked it up reflexively and ate it without thinking about it because the place was so clean

I'm a big guy and I felt full in a good way when I left but not sluggish, I can tell that their ingredients are high quality and very clean

I've been here more than once and my favorite thing on the menu is the French toast, it is just soooo good! Hats off to the chef who always delivers it perfectly!

Iv been going to Chefs Table since they opened. One of my favorite restaurants ever. Great tasting food that is fresh with clean ingredients. The staff is second to none and will get you in and out quickly if you need. I just wish it was open for dinner !!! Do yourself a favor and check them out.

We got two last minute catering dishes for a party. One was a refrigerated cold slaw and another was a baked macaroni dish that we baked at home. We had a great experience with both dishes. We would order from them again.

Hidden gem. Food is always fresh and yummy. Prices are reasonable.

Stopped by for breakfast after dropping off my recycling around the corner. I ordered the Meatloaf & Eggs. The presentation was good with the spicy sauce dribbled over the hash browns, meatloaf, over-easy eggs, sliced avocado, and chopped green onions, but I when I read "skillet potatoes," on the menu, I thought I would be getting fresh potatoes, not standard-fare hash browns. The meatloaf was just okay.

The service was great in the roomy and nicely designed restaurant, and the prices were fairly reasonable. I may give it another try at some point.

Wheelchair accessibility: Front door accessible from handicapped parking spots with no need to navigate obstacles. Plenty of space between tables inside restaurant.

Wow, such a great place for lunch. I was impressed and so much food. I had the shrimp tacos (large and not fried or breaded) and it comes with two sides for under $15.00. Well worth it! It was fresh and full of flavor. The service was great too!

Got hungry going through Knoxville on I-40. Googled “restaurants near I-40” and The Chef’s Table popped up. It was conveniently located, so we gave it a try. They were serving lunch and breakfast. We picked breakfast which was a good choice. One of us had delicious French Toast with crisp bacon. The other had scrambled eggs with excellent grits. The restaurant was clean and the server very friendly. Next time we are in the Knoxville area, we’ll be back.

Very nice little mom and pop style restaurant tucked away in Knoxville. Just misses five stars due to what truly seemed like a tablespoon or more of pepper mixed into our hash browns, making them completely inedible, but otherwise it was a fantastic visit. The rest of the meal was great.
