Best smoked old fashioned in all of TN! Love the staff! My most favorite bar in all of TN!

In town for a convention. They gave us an itinerary that said $15 breakfast buffet. The buffet was pathetic. The selection was almost non-existent. The food was tasteless other than the peppered bacon, which was the only redeeming item. Service was almost not there. We had to find service at any need. When we were able to get our bill, it was $25 per person and they added gratuity to the bill. So my bill for 2 adults and a child was $100 for barely above gas station food.

We only had drinks so I am reluctant to go above 4 stars. The place was packed (UT graduation weekend) but service was still on it. We will go back for dinner. I will update my review at that time.

One of the dishes we ordered was there roasted vegetables and they were so salty they could not be eaten. Another was the French fries which were great! Nicely crispy and hot when served. The other dishes were good, but pricey.

Enjoyed some fine dining at this relaxed lounge located in our hotel The Tennessean. The service was fantastic, the staff was very attentive. So I had never had gin before but it sounded adult so I ordered the Gin City in honor of Kiss' last show and their song Cold Gin. Very tasty. Main course was the Panko Pork Milanese. Rustic and hearty, very well done . For desert a NY Cheesecake with a side of caramel and a side of strawberry sauce. They did it to perfection. Would most definitely recommend this place.

We decided to eat here while we stayed at the hotel and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. You MUST get the chicken. It was the best chicken I have ever had. It takes a bit longer than most other items but when I ordered it, the bartender said it's worth the wait and she was not wrong. A week later and we are still here talking about how amazing that chicken was.

Best Old Fashioned. I was very lucky to drink here twice during my stay. It was the best old fashioned I've ever had. I would highly recommend if you like cocktails. Great view of the World's Fair park. It can get buys, I recommend going after dinner as they have a dinner service in the bar. Visited 5/2023.

Didn't know what I was walking into, just looking for a glass of wine... but wow! Josh was so attentive and made the most amazing drinks. Alisha behind the bar was also so friendly. Would absolutely recommend this if you're visiting!
Josh is a literal jewel. The customer service he greets you with from the time you grace the door is unmatched! It’s almost like he was waiting just for YOU to show up. That - alone - is enough to entice you to stay. This place makes one of the best old fashioned drinks. The food, especially the burger (hidden menu item) is amazing! Also try the tenderloin tips and crab cake.WHATEVER you order, ask for you Josh. He’s sure to make it a memorable visit.

What an amazing, welcoming place! We stayed at the Tennessean for a few nights and spent a fair bit of time at the Drawing Room. Kavon, James and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Not only did they provide great service to us (prompt, friendly) and make amazing cocktails (the smoky peach margarita was my fave!) but they were such a great team and appeared to genuinely enjoy each other and their jobs, which made the atmosphere fantastic. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!

Have come here two different times on two different trips and really enjoyed both occasions. The atmosphere is outstanding and the alcohol section is top notch. Whether you get a drink and sit at the bar or get your drink and take it by the fireplace, you won’t be disappointed!

Wasn't sure how this would be as the don't take reservations and it's inside The Tennessean Hotel but since I was staying there, I thought why not. I was in town to see my daughter and son-in-law for Thanksgiving. Her birthday is a couple days after Thanksgiving, so we always celebrate while we're all together for the holiday. My daughter got the scallops or I should say scallop because there was only two tiny tiny scallops in the entire dish. That was kind of a bummer my son-in-law got the yard bird and said it was delicious. I personally got the Wagyu burger with fries. It was huge! And the fries were, good portion size. We got a bottle of the house Bordeaux and thoroughly enjoyed that all in all it was very good. Don't think we'd get the scallops together though. Service was excellent!
