The Shakery at Fountain City

Service was appalling. I tried talking to the hostess twice about the shakery, she said she didn't know. Which is fine. I walked out and double checked this is the place. Which it is because they have a shakery in Powell. When I went back in to show her she said "I don't know do you know what you want." I get this may not sound bad but the attitude presented the idea of she didn't want to be there. I get having a rough day. But if you need help go ask. I don't need to drive 30 minutes for a shake and then have someone rude. This was my first time being here and I hope I can come back and have a different experience one day.

Just to be clear I didn't even order. This was just me trying to get information so I could order.

Edit: One of the owners contacted me and we had a phone. He was very understanding and accommodating. He assured me that this would never happen again. As a customer I feel very confident in the way this was treated. I could not have asked for a better experience when speaking to someone who cares about his employees and customers. Kudos to an amazing company and I cannot wait to try their foods I've heard so much about!

The name of restaurant isn’t the Shakery it’s Inskip Grill and its a gem tucked away in a shopping center on Broadway the fountain city area. Our food was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious!! The menu had an awesome selection of food that would satisfy the pickiest eaters. Be sure and leave room for yummy dessert

We came in just for ice cream and a stop on our long roadtrip. We were greeted at the door by Aaron and he was extremely helpful and kind. We had an allergy in our group and he was very understanding, accommodating and helpful in getting us served. He was also very pleasant and engaged in good conversation and overall made the experience a great one!

I have great service each time come here Yvonne I'm guessing is her name is awesome the sweets are the best I've had from an ice cream shop in Knox.

I have stopped at the shakery several times during regular business hours and they always seem to be closed. Even though the door says they are supposed to be open. I just don't understand it and I don't understand how a small business can so frivolously turn business away. They must be doing better than the rest of the country.. Good for them.In reply.. I know the business hours. And you are correct. I found them on Google and on the door, etc. But you haven't been open when I stopped there during those hours. I have no reason to lie. I love ice cream and I love milkshakes and I have been dying to try yours because I've been told over and over that they are the best in town. So believe me I want the door to open.

We paid $12 dollars each for a grilla shake that was supposed to come in a 16oz glass mug. Once we got the shakes it was in a plastic cup... I thought maybe it was an error so I asked about it and was told that we were given a discount because they no longer had the mugs... it says on their menu as well as on their Facebook page $12 for a grilla shake in a 16oz glass mug. was very disappointed and we did not receive any discount we paid for price and did not receive what we paid for! also a friend of mine was with us and didn't like the special shake they had the past weekend and did not receive a refund. and the shake I had was subpar will not be returning. save your money and do not go here.

It's actually called the Inskip Grill. Great shakes. They use Blue Bell ice cream for them and we were very pleased. Didn't order any food but we spied on the meals of people that did and it looked pretty tasty.
