Waffle House in Knoxville

“They have someone to geeet you as you walk in. Even during a rush the kitchen keeps up and you won't have to wait a long for your food. Big groups may have to wait 10-15 for a table during a rush.
They have a juke box to request your favs.“

“We came in at almost 9pm on thanksgiving. The staff were fabulous!! They were prompt, cheerful, and kind, despite being very busy and rushed. Our server, in addition to taking orders and checking on us and several more tables, was cooking several meals at a time. We were SO impressed and appreciative, especially since it was a holiday. Will be back next time we're in Knoxville.“

“This was one of the best waffle houses ever! Our server was absolutely fantastic and so very friendly! We had the senior breakfast with eggs grits bacon toast and hash browns. The food was cooked well and served hot! The coffee was fantastic! The service was also fast! I wish I lived closer I would go there more often. I did not realize that Waffle House was started by two veterans. That makes it even better. They also have a jukebox that you can use.“

“I work here atm lol come down and see me I work 2nds and some thirds and I'll make sure the service is great!! I recommend any hrs to go tho because all the cooks we have are amazing and the food comes out amazing whether I work here or not I'll always Come and eat at the halls location!!! I highly recommend servers Jenn H, sam H, and pineapple and a few others on third shift!! All the ladies on first shift are amazing!!“

“I absolutely love this waffle house, I grew up around here and only a handful of times in my 20 years of being in South Knox have I ever left this fine establishment upset. My favorite person to see there is THE Miss Mel, Best cook in the south and has a load of southern charm to her❤️“

“They were having problems during lunchtime the day I visited. It took them approximately 20 minutes before I got my food and it didn't come all at the same time. The waitress come to my table several times to apologize about the wait. I told her it was no problem. It wasn't her fault. I believe they had new cook's on the grill and they were struggling. I absolutely love Waffle House and one mishap won't change my mind. I visit Waffle Houses regularly and I intend to keep visiting them at least once a week. 💖“

“One of our best experiences at Waffle House! The Tennessee game had apparently just ended and everyone came in at the same time… but we were immediately greeted, a table was quickly cleaned after someone left and our drink order taken, the coffee was hot and fresh, the food was tasty and timely, the service - while they were still packed - was on point. We always eat at WH once on our road trips to DC and this was a great choice as we headed back to Texas! Highly recommend if you are in the area!“
