Waffle House in Knoxville

“This place is awesome. Low-key the best waffle house in the country. These people are the delta force of waffles. Go here if you want consistently predictable breakfast fare a short walk from your hotel or place of business. They raised the price of the all star but it's still a fantastic value in the hellscape of 2026 and you know that waffle is coming your way extra crispy with a side of smothered covered and chunked. Okay that's enough. I'm stopping for a waffle break.“

“We all generally know what to expect when entering a waffle house, it feels a bit like eating breakfast in a gas station bathroom. However Caryn managed to make sure things went better than I could have possibly expected. Both service and food was beyond par.“

“This was one of the best waffle houses ever! Our server was absolutely fantastic and so very friendly! We had the senior breakfast with eggs grits bacon toast and hash browns. The food was cooked well and served hot! The coffee was fantastic! The service was also fast! I wish I lived closer I would go there more often. I did not realize that Waffle House was started by two veterans. That makes it even better. They also have a jukebox that you can use.“

“I absolutely love this waffle house, I grew up around here and only a handful of times in my 20 years of being in South Knox have I ever left this fine establishment upset. My favorite person to see there is THE Miss Mel, Best cook in the south and has a load of southern charm to her❤️“

“They were having problems during lunchtime the day I visited. It took them approximately 20 minutes before I got my food and it didn't come all at the same time. The waitress come to my table several times to apologize about the wait. I told her it was no problem. It wasn't her fault. I believe they had new cook's on the grill and they were struggling. I absolutely love Waffle House and one mishap won't change my mind. I visit Waffle Houses regularly and I intend to keep visiting them at least once a week. 💖“

“Waffle house is always been outstanding to me. I've probably been visiting waffle houses for 30 years and I really enjoy the fast inefficient service. Employees are always very courteous. The food is always freshly cooked. Enterprise's are always decent.“

“This is the best Waffle House experience my family and I have ever had. We sat at the bar, and our daughter was upset she didn't get bunny ears like the waitresses. It's almost Easter, which she loves any holiday, and felt left out. Well, our waiter brought her a big bunny decoration, helped us calm her down, and one of the cooks made her a waffle with a whipped cream smiley face. It was so nice and the service was impeccable. Food was unbelievably fast and cooked perfectly. My only complaint is that this isn't anywhere near my home.“
