Waffle House in Knoxville

“Went there today and walked in and the lady asked me what she could get for me and I said I would like to eat in and the cooking staff laughed at me. What I think is funny is any other waffle house I have been to and I have been to a lot in many states they always seat their guest as soon as they come in the door so not sure if this place just doesn't understand the basic concept of that or not but if your not going to do what other stores are doing at least put a sign up that says take a seat anywhere we are busy and can't help assist you in finding a clean table for you“

“Hash browns were great, and you better believe I got them with the works, service was... serviceable, very hospitable but the refills were a tad slow at times. That being said, what appeared to be three different drug deals happened in the parking lot during the course of my meal so the atmosphere was certainly a little tense.“

“The staff here works very hard to ensure that the food is made to order. They always put the very best effort into making the food very good. Their service is excellent and they're very attentive to their customers. If they do miss something they are quick to correct it. They're very attentive to their customers: and, they go out of their way to be kind to their customers and their staff. The atmosphere that I sense is the feeling of coming into the family kitchen at home.

Kid-friendliness: Best to get there after 6 am. For the kiddos. It is not because of the people who work there either. Patrons can be a bit rowdy on weekends after closing down other establishments. But as an adult... sometimes that is where the entertainment is.“

“Staff was extremely helpful there menu's are written very small and I had forgotten my glasses she asked if she could help me so I told her what I wanted and she made sure it was the cheapest way she could make it. Food was excellent..

“We don't often eat breakfast out, but when we do, it is almost always at waffle House. We love their waffles. They Fry their bacon crispy but not burnt. They fix over medium eggs perfectly! Their service at the Merchant's Rd. in Knoxville location is great! They have a lady at their door greeting customers as you come in and leave. They have a friendly and conscientious wait staff. There is nothing fancy here, but it is a great place to start your day.

Kid-friendliness: They have a kid's menu that caters to what children like to eat.“

“Came in for a quick breakfast while my bike was being serviced next door. The 5 ladies working were fun and friendly. Seleana was very nice and my breakfast was cooked quickly and perfectly and served with a smile. These ladies were all hustling and keeping up with the crowd while also cleaning the entire place. It's a smaller and older location, but they take pride in their work while also having a good time.“
