worst restaurant experience of probably my whole life so far... I got take out. And during my 40 minute wait on 2 quesadillas and a chimychonga. while there are only 2 other small familys eating there so no reason for the looong wait. I was just thinking how is this place even open? it feels like one of those places you see on hells kitchen where they have cockroaches and rats in the kitchen. the men's bathroom smelled strange (like rat feces and mold idk it was bad) and the door was propped open so it couldn't be shut. ( probably because someone got food poisoning and blew it up). the floors of the bathroom were also very slick and slippery (gross.. side note you can probably slip and sue them). I was about to walk out before our food came but my mom convince me to wait and give it a chance... well food comes out. and we leave (thank goodness just get me out of here)! so we get the food back and have a chance to try it.. chicken quesadillas I got were soggy, not even a crisp to them. chicken had no seasoning. they didn't have any guacamole, oh then I FOUND A HAIR AND WHATEVER APITITE THAT WASNT ALREADY KILLED BY THE TASTELESS SOGGY FOOD BEFORE THAT WAS NOW DEAD! the tomato sauce tasted like tomato soup. and the salsa wasn't any better! DO NOT GO HERE, unless you want to feel like you are in a back ally restaurant in the slums of Mexico. I really have nothing nice to say about this place even the wait staff seemed to have a bad attitude. (probably because they know their food is bad but instead of correcting it they want to believe that the customers are the problem)

Fresh ingredients, wonderful flavors, those thin, crispy chips and salsa are just superb! LOVE THIS RESTAURANT!

Amazing restaurant with a full sized bar. I got the mega chimichanga with steak and it was perfect. Real authentic Mexican food. Lafayette doesn’t have many options for good food so I am very happy this place opened and will be going back and telling all my friends as well.

I ordered a chicken burrito fajita to go. I got chicken fajitas. My wife ordered a guacamole salad. She got a salad with no guacamole. Will never order a to go order from there again.

My favorite Mexican food in town!! Great food, friendly staff and affordable prices! Street tacos are my fave!

I got to say, when I left Macon County several years ago... The restaurant that was in place of Don Tequila was nothing of the caliber that I experienced today. Mainly the aesthetics of the restaurant, but still the old restaurant staff and food was good. The staff was second to none before, they are still on par with that now. I kind of had a shock experience as I was walking in and thinking where am I, this is not what I remember leaving. If you're in the area, go for it. It was good, I liked it, if I'm ever back there I will go back.

I ordered the Quesabirria and it was one of the best meals Iv had. It’s messy but it’s so delicious I would highly recommend it to anyone.

The best salsa I've had in a very long time. Cute and clean. Food was excellent!
