Bot take out dinner to pick up at 11am on Thanksgiving and we loved it. Only issue was they did not bring it out until 23 min after my selected time or it would have been 5 stars on service too.

We are here based on the recommendation of two people. It was definitely a good recommendation. The remnants of Hurricane Helene had blown through the area earlier and you could see several large branches had blown down but the parking lot was clear and they were open. We got some drinks from the bar and didn't have much of a wait for our table right on the water. Each of our meals were served in a timely manner and all were delicious. Eating right on the water was a great way to end a long day.

Ordered the brisket platter for myself and my husband ordered the brisket sandwich- both with baked potatoes. Both came out cold. Sent back, got less food back only slightly warmer and a SOGGY bun. We won’t be back to this location, the kitchen staff need some work….

The only let I don't think is right, not only at Calhoun's is also at other restaurants. You pay 28 to 30 dollars for an entree and they want you to pay for an additional $5.50 for a salad!!! Come on ,we all know it doesn't cost that much to make a salad. Another one that gouges you.😩

Wasn't what we were use to at other Calhoun's restaurants. The house salads were fresh. My husband said his brisket was very good. My chicken teriyaki was rather dry and seemed like it was dipped in sauce just before delivery. The acorn squash was good. Had to the ask for the bread that was suppose to come with the meal. They sat us at the very far end of the deck next to a huge group of people with several very loud children. The windows could use a good cleaning. Like I said, not the standard set by other Calhoun's we have visited. Too bad.
The replica of the Nina and Pinta were there and it made for a special visit. The water wad muddy from the recent flood.

We had a meeting of ten people and everything was fantastic. One person ordered salmon, and it came out as a lunch portion. He was disappointed but didn't say anything. The next thing we knew, the Kitchen Manager brought him a lovely, large portion because they had realized their error. That speaks volumes! We enjoyed ourselves so much, I didn't even take pictures of the food! I'm including a pic of the boats at the Calhoun's marina on that lovely fall afternoon.
The bun on my hamburger disintegrated. I ate it with a fork . Catfish was pretty good. Small serving with one small side.

As usual the food is amazing... spent my birthday dinner here and the server was a doll! Absolutely adored how helpful and sweet she is! Although the corn pudding is no longer on the menu the slaw and spinach Maria, and fried green tomatoes more than make up for it!! It was absolutely a pleasure being there tonight for dinner! 5 full stars 🌟
