Mildred's Restaurant

Great southern comfort food! My fiancée and I stopped on a Sunday afternoon for the buffet. Simple country food like sweet potato casserole, string beans, dinner rolls, fried chicken, and catfish. Dessert was awesome as well: bananas pudding with homemade meringue, bread pudding, and peach cobbler with soft serve ice cream. Fantastic southern sweet tea. Definitely recommend and will stop by next time I'm visiting Lewisburg, TN.

If you were raised on rural eating places you will be at home here. About as country as it's gonna get. Oddly owned and operated by a Asian. I like the place but that should not be taken as a broad recommendation. If you will eat no further down the food chain than Shoney's there is a fair chance you will not like this place. The veggies come out of gallon cans. There is fresh salad but care must be taken with it. The fried chicken is occasionally over cooked but the cat fish...read full review
