Travelers BBQ is the halfway point between my TN home and my family in MS. I travel this route routinely and always stop for carry out pulled pork which I purchase by the pound. I've stopped at every BBQ place along the way and none compare to Travelers. The pulled pork is very lean and has just the right amount of smoke and flavor. The BBQ sauce is to die for. I could drink it. The pork and sauce are consistent - the same deliciousness every time!
Went there with friends for lunch on Sunday. Since 1993, I have eaten at over 240 bbq joints all over the country. The brisket (chopped) and pork were outstanding. The sauce, the beans and the mac & cheese were very good as well.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of highchairs and booster seats.
