Awful Staff and I mean that one down in the picture! She give men customers the a key to the women’s bathroom at the marina!!! The Marina Manger had to call the police for that and that customer is not allowed on premises anymore!!! She took a picture of me so she can send it to that customer after she got involved! What kind of a restaurant that hire that kind of people?!!! And she was saying I am not to be allowed to eat at the restaurant as if I am going to be missing out on a huge fantastic thing lol classy ? eat that food yourself! Do Not come here unless you wish to experience that awful woman who gives keys to men fir women’s bathroom and then gets upset that she got caught and now the owner is laying to defend one of his staff saying that the whole thing was fabricated…like we know each other from before?! Keep it up ?

We were looking for a place on the lake on a Sunday afternoon. They are very dog friendly and we brought our dog with us. The owner spoke to us and met our dog. Everyone was friendly and the food was good and affordable. They have an outside deck right on the water and fish come right up to the deck. It was not crowded for the weekend. A lucky find for us.

Opens at 11. Wanted some quick lunch & 3 people working didn't have the restaurant ready for customers. Chairs still up, lights & fans off. Girl working welcomed us in but told us is to wait till she had chairs down. 5 guys walked in behind me & she sat them first & got their drink order. ???She got our drink order next but I waited 10 minutes before I walked out without receiving it. Total time in the restaurant, 16 minutes. Not cute enough, pleasant enough or well priced enough to try again. ?

Walked in to no one to seat us or no sign saying seat yourself(we waited 5 minutes or so) then went and sat down before getting up and walking out. Maybe try at least saying hello next time? ?♂️. Don't let the positive reviews fool you, not a great atmosphere at all, unless you're trailer trash or something I guess.

Great atmosphere & good food! It takes a bit of time to get your food but in my opinion, that is a good sign that it’s all being made fresh and to order so I’m okay with the wait. Both times we’ve been there has been a band playing so that kept us occupied while we waited. We will definitely be back!

My wife and I stopped today for lunch. We are fans of Restaurant Impossible and didn't want to miss the chance to visit since I was in the area for work. As a veteran myself, I was also happy to patronize a veteran-owned business, and Rob's story struck a personal chord with me. We were not disappointed. It was great seeing the remodeled restaurant in person, and our server (her name escapes me, but she was training another new server) was awesome. Great smile, bubbly personality, and very helpful and attentive. I had the pulled pork nachos, and was presented with a large portion, which had a great blend of flavors. My wife got the chicken tenders and fries, and they were even better- very delicately battered and perfectly cooked. If we find ourselves in Louisville again, we will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.
We ate at The Anchor for the first time and it won't be the last! Everything we ordered left us wanting more! The wings, BBQ, and ribs were smoked on-site and served in huge portions. Can't wait to sample everything else on the menu. It is also Veteran and locally owned and you will be welcomed as soon as you walk in the door...

I got Philly Cheese Chicken and fries. It was excellent. Wife got shrimp and steak. It was good. The steak was ordered medium and it was brought out well done. However, the manager immediately said theybwould cook another, but more importantly, she was very professional, courteous, and kind, and made sure we were completely satisfied. We weren't sure we would come back, but after the way she treated us, we will definitely be back. Loved the atmosphere and also the kindness of our waitress.

We have decided to visit all the local river/ lake side bars and restaurants the summer. Our first choice is the Anchor at the Louisville boat dock. They have both inside and outside area. Inside does have a/c. They have both beer and full liquor bar as well. They have a small stage area in the outside deck which is fully covered and screened. There is a smaller fully outside area, but is is pretty small. They are smoking pork right out side which is great smelling. Right now we're just drinking a few beers and enjoying their queso and chips, but We're going to be trying the dinner shortly. I will repost to provide how that wentQuick add on. We really enjoyed our time there today, but the couple we were meeting wanted us to go boating with them so we did not eat dinner there. My wife and I are looking forward to returning to eat dinner and see some live music.
