“What can I say! I'm flabergasted by this experience. It is all I wanted to try in the South but was not able to find. You MUST dine here when in Lynchburg. The food is all southern home made, Mrs Janice was so nice and told us a bunch of great stories about the days. The gift store has themed gifts and the house is beautiful.Dietary restrictions: Might be hard to have a special meal since we don't choose the menu and we all eat the same.”

“Staff was polite and the food was out in a flash. Interesting motif. My daughter and I went there to try the grilled cheese on Crack which did not disappoint. Before leaving my daughter opted for a banana pudding which she loved. Definitely would stop by again next time we are in town.”

“The vegetarian pizza was good. They make pizza with mostly fresh ingredients. They got lot of home made ice cream options. After tasting 3 flavors, I chose ‘Pralines and Pecans’ in waffle cone.”

“Great place for lunch! Hubby and I split the sampler plate. Just the right amount of food. We travel with our dog and they were pleased to welcome us to their patio out back. On a rainy day it was fantastic to find a covered patio where we could sit and have lunch. Entire staff is AMAZING!”

“local man who got into cake & candy that includes Jack in the ingredients after he retired. Very friendly gentleman who operates this in a building next to his home. Very informative on how it all began as well as letting u look around how its made. The sign is one on the main road as u approach Jack Daniels so watch for it & take the half mile detour and check it out, plus the tour is free, and his cake & candy is unique.”

“First time to Lynchburg. Went to grab breakfast and missed the cutoff so got a sandwich instead. Ended up ordering the French dip and it was so good! The cookies that came with the lunch were so damn delicious too!”

“I would recommend El Costal located at 1905 N Jackson St #800, Tullahoma, TN 37388. I got the Pollo Feliz and it was delicious. I spent about $17 for my meal which I think was a good price for the portion and quality of the food. When my friends and I arrived, the host wasn’t there for a minute, but then came and sat us quickly which I appreciated. Other than that, our service was good and they brought everything out quickly. Overall, we had a good time and enjoyed our food.”

“Ate at Blue Gill Grill: Their food has improved dramatically in the last 8 years. They recently lowered their frozen drink prices from $17 to $13. That's a big plus. We love the Sidewinder potatoes and I don't think you can get a bad thing on the menu. I wish they were open all year.”

“excellent little ice cream shop. This place is a little convenient store that serves ice cream. They also sell some other useful boating items. The shop is located right up the stairs from where you get boat fuel, and it's certainly worth a visit.They have some nice interesting ice cream flavors, which is perfect for a hot day on the water. “It's the end of September 2023. So Monday through Thursday they have a more limited menu. You need to go inside to order. I didn't realize that when I first got here. Everything is served in to go containers. The burger that they have on this menu is huge so I just had them put the second patty in a different container for me. You guys, it is delicious. The french fries were so hot. I needed to wait for them to cool down before eating them. That's a great problem to have! Though they serve the food into the containers, they invite you to sit inside or outside and eat.Of course, as usual, the view is fantastic. The leaves are starting to change nicely!”
