“Been to the shop a few times in my lifetime and the first was in my childhood visit my uncle in Murfreesboro.

Their whisky candy will forever remind me of my childhood. Though, way back when, their whisky candy seemed to have been a sheet of solid whisky candy they would smash with a hammer and each piece was a different size. No matter. The flavor and their candy making need to be cherished and absolutely saved for years to come.

I recently found out I can order the candy online and had just received my order today.

The homemade muffins tasted like somebody’s grandma woke up at 4 a.m. and decided the world deserved happiness. Fresh, soft, and absolutely dangerous if you’re trying to show any self-control. Then came the ice cream. At that point, Southern Perks stopped being a coffee shop and became a life choice. Sandwiches, bakery treats, coffee, soda, and ice cream all under one roof? It’s basically the Swiss Army knife of comfort food. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and has that small-town charm that makes you want to sit a little longer and order “just one more thing.” Pros: ✔️ Homemade muffins that should probably require a warning label ✔️ Great coffee ✔️ Delicious ice cream ✔️ Friendly atmosphere ✔️ Worth every calorie Cons: ❌ I now have unrealistic expectations for every other coffee shop. “The app changed stores. My answers may be wrong!! It was at the public library then switched off to the restaurant!! Very good food, excellent service! Family owned, regular diner style with tables and chairs. Bottled soft drinks, water etc. Not fancy but inviting and clean.”

Additionally, our seating location at the front of the establishment resulted in drafts of cold air entering each time the door opened. For those seeking to avoid cold temperatures during the winter months, I recommend requesting seating in the rear of the premises.”

“I know Hardee's in New Ulm MN has had some issues, but I went there today and was more than impressed! there were at least four people working there and they were so friendly and the food came really fast. it was fresh and hot and delicious! The shop is located right up the stairs from where you get boat fuel, and it's certainly worth a visit.They have some nice interesting ice cream flavors, which is perfect for a hot day on the water. “Been to this location many times every so often. Everytime we go there's someone different there. Generally very good service and food. But it changes everytime. Even the food changes depending on who is cooking. Just one time where the server was super slow. Yesterday the portion was small compared to before as I have ordered the same thing numerous times already. But the service was absolutely awesome. So you never know what to expect there.”

“This is by far the best subway I've ever been too. The staff is so friendly and I always tip very well because how good they do with remembering what I want as soon as I walk in they already know as I always get the same thing. “I am very impressed with this location and their desire to give good service. I placed a mobile order for curbside delivery but when I came to pick it up they didn't bring it out. Turns out they had gotten slammed with a really huge order about the same time and mine got mixed up with that one. Ms. Loretta apologized profusely and offered to remake it but I didn't have time to wiat. So she told me to come back and my next meal would be free. I appreciate her taking ownership of the situation and also explaining what happened. Nowadays most places don't even care but they went out of their way to make up for it. I've always loved Zaxby's and I will continue to support this business!”
