“I love higher ground! It is my favorite local coffee shop to go to in Martin. Their seasonal/monthly drinks are always so fun and delicious! The drive thru moves pretty fast and the staff is always really nice and friendly! The raspberry white chocolate scone is to DIE for!!!“

“When traveling we avoid the chain restaurants and go to the local places. While visiting UT Martin we stopped in here. This is the place to go! The food is great but the service is awesome and friendly. Mason was our server and he did such a great job recommending food and just visiting with us. We were on a college visit and he shared some great information about the school and took an interest in where we were from. All of our food was great. We had burgers and one of the mac and cheese dishes. We topped it off with a strawberry shortshake, yep, shortshake. These shakes are a mountain of goodness, so save room for dessert. We will definately be going back when in the area.“

“Its rare to find a locally owned , non franchise , fast food restaurant, but here it is . They're consistent, good , and offer a menu with all the usual fast food fair , and a lot of their own takes on the usual cuisine. Their milkshakes are home made , as is everything else , from fresh ingredients.“

“I visited this location on Saturday August 23rd 2025 and idk what they are doing at this location that every other location I’ve ever been to (and it’s A LOT) ISN’T doing but they need to be 1st off I forgot to tell them that I didn’t want any onions or pickles on my burger and I remembered right before they brought us our order, even so they still without being mad or having that face of UGH!! Made my burger how I wanted it and brought it out with our entire order. That burger was THE ABSOLUTE BEST BURGER FROM A MCDONALD’S I’VE EVER HAD hands down no other location even comes close I could actually taste the salt and pepper and meat and cheese separately but while I was chewing an entire bite I’m telling you I’ve never tasted a burger so good, I would even go so far as to say best burger from any restaurant EVER!!!!!
