A gem ... ! For a town the size of Martin, we didn't expect to find such an exceptional restaurant. The BBQ is on point. The dry-rubbed wings are out of this world. The sides - crispy Brussels sprouts? Count me in. Salads? Nailed it. Service matches the quality of the food. And the space and ambience round it all out. Do yourself a favor and stop in. Again and again.
We are from out of town and family brought us here. They had told us about the smoked cream cheese, and we tried to replicate it before we came here, but now realize we're nowhere close to replicating it. Our only complaint is that they are closed the rest of the time that we are visiting! The smoked cream cheese is amazing. The seasoned crackers are fantastic. Blake's is the best. Every time I drive from Nashville to our farm in Rives, I have to have my Blake's fix. He smokes the best brisket ever! I mixed it up the other night and ordered the nachos with brisket. I was a little disappointed with the lack of brisket and too many jalapeños and pickled onions. I will stick with the plates and sandwiches from here on. Don't pass on his smoked cream cheese nor his fantastic pimento cheese.
