Small town eatery at its finest! I had the sausage parm and my wife had the meatball sub. Quite honestly the best sausage sub I’ve ever had. Authentic Italian sausage and meatballs on a crusty, chewy Chicago bread. Delish!
And “ holy cannoli”! If you get just one ( and I suggest you try more than one) the pistachio cannoli was amazing! I don’t like sweet sweet stuff , the filling was pistachio perfect!

Fantastic Italian beef, meatballs, & hotdogs! The owners are so friendly and they practically welcome you into the family. This is a must stop if you’re a former Chicagoan.
I ate here about 3:30 on a Friday and was the only one in the restaurant. I have come on a weekend evening in the past and it was packed with no open seating so the crowd can be quite variable. I ordered a meatball sub, a Coke Zero and a cannoli. The total was $19 bucks which seems about right for lunch in the sleepy little town of McKenzie when school is out for summer.
