The river monster sandwich was delicious! The horseradish sauce was flavorful but not overpowering and the roast beef was so tender. The service was quick and friendly. Nice view of kayaks on the river!

My review is specifically for the kayaking tour. My daughter and I recently camped at rock island state park. Mickey met my daughter and I there and took us on a tour to see twin falls. It was a beautiful place to kayak and he was so nice and helpful!! We plan to come visit and stay at Smooth Rapids campground next time we camp out there. Genuine guy so I know the whole campground has got to be awesome.

When my boyfriend and I were literally caught between a rock and a hard place, mickey at smooth rapids proved there are good people out there. Our truck (pull vehicle) for our fifth wheel broke down .. he let us come to his park, and helped us immensely. We ate at the restaurant, stayed at the campground for 10 weeks. They went above and beyond. I can't say enough. They made a bad situation more than bearable, we actually had fun! Thank you mickey!!!!!
