Aldo’s Pizza Pies - Downtown

Aldo's Pizza Pies is definitely a restaurant I would return to. Great pizza, good beer, and fast service, I would recommend it to anybody looking for a downtown pizza restaurant. Having a good selection of pizzas and lots of beer options, it is definitely one of the good places to eat downtown. With good indoor and outdoor seating, it can sometimes get somewhat loud in the enclosed patio on Main Street.

If you want cosplay New York pizza, here's the spot. It's overpriced, the crust is inconsistent, and the quality is decent. The staff are nice, it's a shame the owner doesn't do discounts for veterans but will for federal agents/guards in uniform.

However, if you're up for gambling $20, this is your spot!

Went in for lunch with my son as he lives pizza. Service wasnt as good as I have had it in the past. But over all the pizza never disappointed at all. Regular pepperoni pie and we ate every bite.

Will be back as always.

First time coming to this establishment. Good selection of pizza, beer, and salads. Service was decent. Pizza was really good. Only annoyance I found was in this now demanding top industry they automatically put 20% tip on any check even if eating on your own or going for takeout. No explanation up front about this but 🤷‍♂️. I never tip 20% especially when on business I always tip more. Based off this assumption they only received the 20% I did not add any additional because of the off the cuff addition.

I'm visiting from out of town, and just picked this place off of Google. I'm so glad I did!!! It was AMAZING! 😍 I'm gluten free, and although their menu doesn't exactly offer that, they DO have cauliflower crust option, and that did not bother my sensitivites. And it was the BEST pizza I've tasted in a long time!!! LOVED IT. Also absolutely delighted they carried a local THC seltzer. Perfect dinner, excellent service, great atmosphere. Loved it all! Thank you!

Stopped here while passing through Memphis. I ordered the vodka pizza with meatballs added. The pizza was so so good! The server was very friendly and helpful!

I wish the food and service had matched up with the atmosphere but it didn’t. We were seated immediately but waited an hour and a half for a pizza and spaghetti with meatballs. With that said, they were busy but after being seated we waited 15 minutes before being acknowledged by the server who only came back to bring drinks, deliver the food and then deliver our ticket. The pizza was decent but nothing special but maybe we just ended up there at a bad time, everybody has not so great days and from other reviews maybe it was just a bad night.

The food was tasty, but the value did not match the price compared to other options in the area. Despite that, I wouldn't write this review and give them 3 stars if it wasn't for the service.
It was late in the evening during a week day so they were not particularly busy. Perhaps, three or four tables with customers. I ordered a pizza for take out. Was told it would take 15 minutes or so. I decided to sit there and wait. They could see me. Waited for about 25 minutes or more. Finally, I decided to ask the cashier. It turned out that my food was ready and they didn't bother to check with the kitchen to call me. When I went back to my hotel room and checked my bill, I noticed they had added 7% surcharge before tax for a take out pizza. On top of that, they had a line to add tip.
Poor service, OK food, higher price than competition.
