Entire meat menu and vegan menu!!!! Very nice and knowledgeable about vegan items, recommend! We got meat pulled pork sandwich and vegan bbq jackfruit sandwich (pictured). That jackfruit sandwich was the best I've had!

I was there several months ago, and I still think about this food regularly.
I had the bbq pulled jackfruit sandwich. It was flavourful and tender and perfect. Even the fries were really good. My child had a black bean burger, which also had so many good flavours. Our group wasn’t entirely vegan, and everyone was extremely happy with their food. We had a nice conversation with one of the owners, who was so friendly.
It’s definitely not in the middle of all of the excitement in Memphis, but it’s worth the drive.

Food was the best thing about this place.My pulled pork burger was pretty good, but the barbeque sauce was too sweet and there was some slightly rancid oil smell (probably the oil they used to toast the buns).Service was slow.Atmosphere is non existent. Very boring decor, but it works, and I don't mind as long as the food is good.

Not gonna lie, the location is not in the best neighborhood, but that’s how you know the food gonna be FYE! lol. Food is cooked to order so the wait time was about 40 minutes which was expected. I would recommend ordering online if you’re in a rush. The prices were very reasonable. You can expect to spend around $15-$35 per person. I love that they have a vegan and non-vegan menu. I ordered from the non-vegan side while my sister ordered from the vegan menu. Take my word, the food is BUSSSSIN! I tried the smokehouse platter (requested for them to be naked/no bbq, they come saucy with bbq if that’s what you like) as well as the collard greens and smoked cabbage. The greens were so unique, they had a flavor I haven’t tasted before on greens, I loved them! My sister had the vegan hibachi with cauliflower bites. She enjoyed them both as well. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience. My only complaint is that the tables were not clean. We went upon the business opening so no one was really there before us yet most the tables were still dirty from day before. Needless to say, I highly recommend this place and I would most definitely love to visit again. Try this place out! You will not be disappointed. 10 out of 10!

I have tried numerous dishes at this establishment since their opening June 2023. I am non-vegan so of course my go to(s) were always meat options, my favorites being the Oxtails Bowl, meat topped Nachos or the All the Smoke Burger. However, over the last couple of months, trusting rave reviews from several return customers, I stepped out of my comfort zone and tried multiple vegan dishes. To my surprise, I now order them more than my favorite meat options. My favorite vegan dishes being the Collard Green Gumbo and Oyster Mushroom Basket! But, I cannot leave out the sides & snacks, vegan and non-vegan, there's an amazing selection for both, the Mac-n-Cheese, Sweet Potato Casserole and Fried Green Tomotoes are top tier. Arnold's Smokehouse will have you craving them and returning days in a row!
I LOVED everything!!! The smoked cabbage is smoky from start to finish, the (non vegan) Mac and cheese has me in a frenzy, the sweet potato casserole is delicious (i like mine cold), the grilled veggies taste like angels grilled them and God said GOOD JOB and the peach cobbler tastes like love!Great job Arnold's! Next time I come, I’ll order fish or oyster mushrooms, not sure yet ? ? ?

I changed my review because I absolutely love the food. Understandably so that I got frustrated for how long I waited to be told I'd have to wait longer to correct a problem. I did ask to speak with the owner and as you being the sole cook there I understand it would have been hard to do. Might I make this suggestion, have communication cards. This way if what happens to me happens to anyone else, the can write their issue and be contacted to correct the problem later, rather than walking away feeling unfinished. I do love the restaurant, the vibe, the atmosphere and for the most part 98% of the time I had visited, the service has been pleasant. After careful thought, mistakes happen, so does miscommunication and because this is high quality food, I don't want to write it off over something like this especially being that this should be a prize/featured restaurant in Memphis. I have had Toms, Tops, one and only and central and this by far is the best Barbeque in Memphis and exudes the rich history we are known for! I appreciate the quality and the heart! We are forever guest to you all. : )

Incredible food. I had a BBQ chicken baked potato bowl and fried green tomatoes for the table, my vegan siblings got gumbo and rasta pasta, which I tasted and were stupid good. Very casual spot, the two vegan dishes could've held their own at a fancy restaurant. My potato bowl was incredible. Menu had a vegan side and a non vegan side. Highly recommend!!!
