During a recent visit, our son suggested meeting here for breakfast. It was packed and required a short wait, but we really enjoyed the atmosphere. All servers were very helpful and the food, while not fancy, was just how we like it. Coffee isn't great but the biscuits are!

More years ago, than I want to think about, a friend took me into Barksdale for the first time.Within the last 2 years, I've started going back on on a frequent basis, and over the last 20 years nothing much has changed.When you walk in you see something that might be from the 1950 to '60s.

The daily lunch specials are always nice with a great selection of meats and vegetables. The breakfast is also great. Sit in Debbie's space and your service will be excellent with no need to ask for refills! We especially like the feeling as if you've stepped back in time with the wood paneling and decorations. And the prices are very reasonable.

The place is old so it does have a slight smell. I got my food to go . Service was ok the guys wasn’t that friendly but the cashier lady was nice the cooks put their feet in the food !

Great little local diner. They were busy and I was by myself so sat at the counter. Coffee kept full and breakfast came out quickly. Biscuits were amazing. Nice to find a place 2E&B with hash browns and biscuits with coffee for $10, especially in Memphis.
