Was walking in expecting it to be really good and was VERY disappointed. As someone who works in the food industry/service industry an automatic 20% on the terrible, untimely service was a jab. Walk a few more doors and get food and service worth paying for. The server took like 10 mins to come get our drinks and no one seemed in a hurry. After he took our drink and food order at the same time he came back another couple minutes later and said they were out of any carbonated drinks. What I’m assuming was the manager, was just not doing manager duties. This place needs a revamp cause it has a lot of potential:( It looks like they combined locations and this portion of the Ben Yays restaurant has been downhill. My suggestion would be to give your servers an incentive to EARN the 20% and people might get better service.
Great service! Our server Shonda was great and the new GM was sweet also. Definitely will go back.

Twice I’ve tried to go here but they’re never open? I showed up at 6PM on a Saturday and it was closed. I really want to try the Voodoo Pasta.
Came today, 7-24-24 at 8:30. They appear to be closed, as in shut down.
I fell in love with their gumbo. Even the bread was buttered with efficiency!John was amazing and wonderful to have a xonversation with.

The food was amazing! Every bite just got better. The jambalaya, blackened chicken, green tomatoes, Caesar salad. I have no regrets. If visiting anytime soon, I highly recommend this place. They did not disappoint.

Likely one of the best dining experiences in the 901. Amazing catfish and they fried green tomatoes are excellent. Great place for Sunday brunch. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

First time here and it was amazing! Food, super fresh and fast definitely made to order. Chef Tony was a real treat! He made sure we were satisfied with our order from beginning to end. Our server, Ashley made it even better. She was ridiculously nice and made sure we were also taken care of. Definitely top service I’ve ever received.

We went here on a Monday night and it wasn't crowded, but the bartender was the only person waiting tables so it took a little longer. We had a large party but everything came out really hot and fresh. The cook was a little upset because we ran way past closing time but he did his best and everyone was pleased. We will definitely be back but earlier in the day.

First time here the food was awesome & the bartender/ waitress was so friendly. Can’t wait to come back to try the drinks!
Had to come back after our visit last night - was only in town for a short while, but this is a must visit while in Memphis! Service and atmosphere was stellar (thank you, Ashley and Chef Tony)! Everyone of all ages in the family loved the beignets. Will be back whenever we’re back in town!

This place looked like a hole in the wall, and it kinda was. I was the first guest at the bar at 830pm on a Tuesday and by the time I left at 930 it was pretty filled up for the tiny place it is. Food is the reason, all HUGE portions. Check it out, be nice and you'll probably feel like tipping extra after they charge you 18% gratuity
