I was lost in New York City while dining at Brooklyn Bridge Italian Restaurant. Thought I’d order something authentic and different…it was Zuppa Fi Pesce. Lovely garlic buttery broth with everything seafood. I wish I had it every evening. It’s easily found on Kirby near Poplar. A blessing to anyone who adores Italian.Parking: Can’t lose your car here.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome, but seldom seen. They usually get kids spaghetti & meatballs.Wheelchair accessibility: No step up from car to bar. If you spill a drink on your lap…it’s on you. They do offer napkins.

POP UP RBI TO RIGHT TO TIE THE GAME!Great experience at BB the other night. Friend and I grabbed dinner here as it had been a long time since we had eaten here. The atmosphere was friendly, dark, and quite exemplifying a nice dining establishment.I had the crusted pan seared salmon with horseradish aioli and it was MONEY. Great crust and cooked very well. I had a side of spinach Florentine which was pretty good, and it came with a dinner salad. The blue cheese vinaigrette dressing was INCREDIBLE!! Don’t skip it.We will definitely be going back.

This used to be one of our favorite places to dine in Memphis. We had a recent experience that was not what we were used to. Our reservation was at seven. At 8:30 we still had not received our entrée. Our server did not stop by our table to refill our waters. We finally got our meals and left after 9 o'clock. The restaurant closes at nine! I think they were short staffed so we did show grace and patience but after that long of a wait with no apology or communication, it left a bad taste in our mouths. No pun intended. I was told they are under new ownership? Perhaps that's part of the issue. Either way, it was disheartening as again this was one of our favorite places.

A friend recommended me to try Brooklyn bridge Italian Restaurant. They said the steak is the best around. I ordered the Steak Masala and asked for no salt and cooked medium. The server recommended putting the Masala sauce on the side. I thanked her for the recommendation and waited an hour and a half for my steak to come. When it arrived, sauce was not on the side, it was overly salty, and cooked rare. I would have lived with one of the three but all three is tough and I didnt want to wait another hour and a half to get another meal cooked. Especially since my friends were eating.I am not looking for anything other than an apology as I was eating with two friends, that I ended up paying for and I didnt even eat! Its 8:45pm now, and I've got to find something else to eat after spending more than $100. A gentleman working there commented that "the server will be taken care of". The server? What did she do wrong? How is she going to be taken care of? Maybe it was an off night for the cook staff, but how you handle things means much more than the bad experience in my book. They could have offered a to go meal that was prepared quickly, they could of done a better job of hiding their frustration with me as if it was my fault it took an hour and half to deliver the quality they did. Thats where Brooklyn Bridge failed tonight. I have no problem paying for my meals but this has been awful.... going home hungry..... I dont recommend this place, but my lonely 1 star review wont make much difference, oh well.

It took an hour and 15 minutes to get our food. My lasagna was burnt, and my girlfriends spaghetti was cold. We would have sent it back to be warmed up, but the server never came back to check on us after she served our food. The AC was set to around 70, and it was very cold each time the AC came on. We had to cover the children with whatever we could find.

Although they've been in business over 37 years, Brooklyn Bridge Italian Restaurant is one of the best kept dining experiences in Memphis!

This place I would NOT recommend. Went here for my mother in laws 80th Birthday dinner and it was disgusting. I don’t normally post on these but please save your time and money. The food was luke warm, full of oil and grease and just the most disgusting Italian food I’ve ever eaten. I hate to complain but it was that bad. It’s so dark in there you have to use your flashlight to see the menu. I ordered Alfredo pasta which had so much oil couldn’t even eat and it was cold. My boyfriend got a pasta mix combo and all of it was cold. Bread so hard on the appetizer it could break your teeth. The wait was so long for cold food. The money you spend is not worth the cold food you get or long wait and bad service. Won’t be returning…

The place was cute with an old time Italian feel. The spaghetti and meatballs was very bitter and did not taste well at all. The shrimp and chicken Alfredo did not have a flavorful taste, very bland. The stuffed mushrooms did taste good. I was really hoping this would be a great spot since so close to home but was not my favorite Italian place at all.

Now overall, this place was pleasant. But there is a few things we had issues with.It took forever for the food to finally come out. And there was only 3 tables in there waiting for food including us.Our server recommended the Pesto Pasta, it was horrible. Bland as can be.The cesear salads were less than desirable. The Filet de Marsala was good at first, but once the crispy onions got soggy. It ruined it. Order it without onions. Now, the kids pizza was the best thing we ordered. I would go back for just the pizza alone. All in all. Nothing stood out to us.

My wife and I dropped in last week to celebrate 24 years of marriage. Once we were seated every table around us was being served. It was as if we were invisible. After 15 minutes without a second glance we left. This was my second time to visit and certainly my last.
