After a very sad day hearing our best friends young son had died in a terrible accident. We arrived on Christmas Day exhausted and in need of rest. The staff were incredibly helpful and did all they could to make our stay

Food was ok. We were starving. Unable to use their table app to order food.Netta chicken sandwich had gristle soOnly ate half. But it was dirty in their lobby restaurant whatever they want to call this area. None of the empty tables were clean and the floor was horrible! This was on a Wednesday night . Which I would think it would be easier to keep clean…disappointed first impression. Bartender was great , made good drinks and checked on us frequently.

The hotel is one of the newer “industrial look“ hotels. Facilities nice, but staff young and lacking in training about customer service. Most procedures very “Techy“. Location very good. Walking distance to Beale Street, and one block from bus/tram stop.

Great place to stay. No complaints. The staff is very nice and professional. The room was a 10/10. The atmosphere was great. The location is excellent everything is within walking distance such the Civil Rights Museum and Beale Street! Great restaurants to eat and just a lot of fun activities to do. Very family oriented.

I have traveled and stayed in many places. I'm very particular about the ambiance and the hotel had a great look and feel. I prefer a resort. But it gave me a little resort vibe. Great job Hyatt!!!!!!

Not ADA friendly despite advertising rooms as such. Shower leaked all over floor making for a dangerous bathroom experience, toilet backed up, no luggage holder, light switches inaccessible, dark and gloomy room and beds too soft.

Very nice area. Very close to downtown in the Mississippi River. I really enjoyed it. Staff was very friendly. Beale Street was very close. The room was very clean and neat. I love the shower I will visit again.

My Niece and I were soooo pleasantly surprised at this hotel, we booked it a few hrs early from a lunch diner. We were driving across country to move into college so we were just looking for clean, quiet and easy. This hotel is so trendy and hip. LOVED the decor of the entire building, lobby, lounge, rooms. The front desk and bar staff were fantastic. We would come back here in a second and recommend to all family and friends. Truly the only downside was that there was no coffee in our room and I had to pay $5 for a pot brewed coffee in the lobby when I first woke up and honestly I don't like talking to anyone before a cup of coffee and shouldn't have to pay for one at a hotel. But, that aside. This hotel was in a great location, safe, convenient and soooo cool.

Hotel in posizione imbattibile: nel cuore di Memphis. La sera con due passi siete a beale street. Camere nuove così come la struttura. Ambiente giovane ed informale. Prezzi più alti della media. Staff gentile e sorridente. Lo consiglio a tutti

It is close to attractions, the atmosphere is modern and fun, rooms simple but very adequate. Very good value. Walking distance to Beale street and restaurants. If valet parking, ask for your car in advance.

Worst experience I've ever had in Memphis. Food and drinks are very overpriced at the hotel. Housekeeping only comes every 3 days and even after they come you have to request items, they didn't leave us towels or toilet paper. The staff is very rude, consistently giving dirt looks. Keep in mind there is a fee to check out early, which is ridiculous.

The hotel and staff were exemplary! We enjoyed a beautiful corner room with a view of the river. The room was clean. The only complaint we had is that there was no microwave or coffee maker in the room.

AC was extremely loud. No way you can sleep with it on. To hot when not on. A lot of street noise also. Cars race down the street in front. Room was nice and funky decor.but overshadowed by the noise. Bed was only so-so comfortable.

I stayed at the Caption hotel over a weekend to attend a wedding nearby with my husband and 16 year old daughter. Several things went wrong...First, while I was impressed to have received an email allowing me to check in prior to arriving (check in time was 3:00 PM). I was able to check in online after 3 and received my room number a QR code saying I needed to scan the code at check in upon arrival to receive my room keys. When I got to the check in counter, I saw where to scan and tried 3 times before asking for help. I was told the QR wouldn't scan because I had already checked in...but I was only provided the QR after I had checked in so that didn't make sense. When I asked if I had just wanted to receive my keys at the check in like the email said, what should I have done...and she said I shouldn't have checked in online. (So the online checkin was useless and the QR code was also useless). Then, our room safe wasn't working, we asked for it to be reset (arrived with it locked already) no one ever came to fix it. Then, at the bar (Talk Shop), the bartender was full of attitude and lacked any kind of customer service skills. After placing an drink order, I went back to the bar counter to check the status (20 min had passed; order was for 7 drinks); she had forgotten the order entirely. She brought 5 of the 7 drinks over and I didn't dare bother ordering the missing 2 drinks after that as i was made to feel as if I had done something wrong for checking on the order? or for ordering at all? It wasn't as if the place was particularly busy. There were 4 people at the bar, a few other groups of 4 here and there and then the party I was with. Drinks took too long and were serve with a healthy dose of attitude and disgust IF served at all. Then, because I had opened a tab at the bar, when it was time to close our, they were unable to provide an itemized receipt...and because of the above, I wanted to ensure I wasn't paying for the other 2 drinks I had ordered but wasn't served. But I was told I could look at the computer screen (which I couldn't see from behind the counter) or after I had signed the total/tip/signature copy could be provided the itemized receipt...? Also, the QR code was provided on each table- but it wasn't working and orders could only be pleased at the counter. Lastly, when it was time to check out, no one was around to check out. Do yourselves a favor and stay somewhere else.
