My wife and i were on a date night, and we had dined at C&M before and really enjoyed our dining experience. Was looking forward to enjoying a nice ribeye meal, but alas, that wasn’t to be last night. First of all, I don’t like having my steak served already sliced into strips … mainly because the meat will immediately begin to lose temperature throughout the steak. Aaand that’s exactly what happened. I knew it on the first bite. While the veg on the same plate was served nice and hot, my steak was barely room temp. Our server was awesome, and kindly returned my steak to the kitchen for reheating, .. but when it was returned it wasn’t appreciably warmer (and now the veg was also room temp .. ugh). After three bites, i just had them box it for me to reheat it myself at home. They did comp us a dessert (to share!) so I guess they thought this was fair compensation for the $58 to-go cold steak that i didn’t order. C&M: I know you can do better, but we are hesitant to return.

I’ve been going to Catherine and Mary’s for 6+ years and, over the last two years, the quality of service and food has decreased. This weekend was, by far, the worst it’s ever been. See photos of the salad that was served to me. I honestly could get sick from eating it! And the bathrooms and main dining room were a mess- disgusting. The service, the atmosphere, and the food were awful, and I’ll never go back! Do not waste your money and time here

For my friend's birthday, we did the AM Wine Dinner Series. Which is the 1st Wednesday of the month. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The wine selection was top tier! The food was delicious. The staff was polite and explained each dish. Amazing experience, and it's a must try. ✨️

I was craving pasta for dinner and was staying at the Canopy when i did a quick search for Italian and this place popped up. Glad i came. I love the aesthetic of the place, my server Annie was attentive and took her time to describe the dishes i asked about. The food was expedited quickly and it was very delicious. I’ll be in town a few days for work and have already decided to come be back before i go. Maybe I’ll save room for dessert. ????
Ok so i came back a second night and so glad i did because i got to try the dessert. Man!! Kudos to the service staff … Ily was sharp, attentive and super helpful … and i didn’t forget you Michael. Even though you were clearing out the nest table i really appreciated the fact that you took the time to assist me. I can tell you take pride in your work.
Totally appreciated the service at C&M and my hats off to the chef ?????? everything i had was delicious. Perfect size and very tasty. I will definitely be telling every i know to stop by this spot if they’re ever in Memphis.
I wanted to take pictures of everything i ate, but i didn’t want to look crazy. Besides i have to leave some room for mystery. So I’ll just share these two instead. Buon Appetito ?
Servers were wonderful, meal was nowhere near the standard I was expecting. The Foccacia was burnt and dripping in oil, the cacio e pepe was so salty we had to return it unfinished and I found my lamb shank stringy and tough, again I couldn't finish the dish. So, for me it was 3 strikes and out. A most disappointing experience.

The restaurant was elegant and the service was friendly, but the food was not flavorful and the portions were overpriced. If you are all about the atmosphere experience then you'll like this place.
