Wife and I went for lunch on Saturday before a playoff game. Plenty of people out on Beale but no one was in here. Quite a difference from the last visit a couple years ago. Our server was nice and despite being seated right in front of his station where he had a constant eye on us, his responsiveness was some of the worst I've ever seen. I had to constantly call out to him to ask if we could order, ask if we could get a drink refill, ask him twice over 20 minutes to bring...
Food was very good. Well prepared and good presentation. However, online menu and menu at the restaurant were not the same. Items advertised online were not available to order. Service got off to a very slow start but picked up. Server was knowledgeable, professional, and attentive. Seemed to be more of a management issue than a server issue. Parking in the adjoining garage was very convenient. They need to clean up the steps leading up yo the door.
Slow to be seated and served. Waiter left menus on our table after taking our orders. Ho hum place. Very casual. Didn't realize that when making reservation. Not really the kind of place we were looking for. Food was acceptable, though, so no harm no foul.
