This was my first time here and I’m disappointed I haven’t come sooner. I got the jerk and curry combo and it was very good, like surprisingly so; one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. The portion was huge too.

We are locals to Memphis but little did we know that the Curry N jerk would be the go to spot for Jerk food. The service by our waitress Tah was superb. The Oxtails were so tender and delicious! 10 out of 10 will eat again.

I want to first start off saying that I have been a customer for a while even before he moved into this new building down the street. I would rave about how great his oxtails are. But the last few times they have not been good especially for the price. In this economy people dont have time to spend money on food that is not satisfying. I ordered the oxtail and curry goat combo(41.00). The food was hot !! So not complaints on the freshness of it… at least i thought. The plate came with 3 oxtails and a serving of goat (looked like cornbeef 🙃). The oxtail was tough and overly spicy. The rice and peas wasn’t dark like it was just regular white rice and mixed some peas into it. And the carrots and potatoes were not even fully cooked. Oh lets not forget the curry goat had NO curry pon it !! Mi a feel lik dem a ramp wid we food. Mi nuh like dat ! Only one small piece of plantain on the plate not even some steam veg for almost a 50.00 dollar plus ticket. He really is over charging he also take 20 percent gratuity if you dine in no matter the party size.
I send the food back. The cook had no issue with taking it back and offered to fix the plate himself. I decided to get the jerk shrimp pasta myself. This dish wasn’t good either!! It was not properly seasoned and no Alfredo sauce either like it was just noodles and cheese with shrimp on top. I will not be back.

The parking was ugly. But the food was amazing . Most definitely worth the parking situation. I got the oxtail mac & chz w/ the jerk chkn(leg quarter) with the cabbage , rice and peas with oxtail gravy &and 1/2 coco bread . Kinda pricey but ima caribbean food fan fasho

This is one of the nicest places I've been to. Inside the building is beautiful and cozy. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food and drinks were excellent!!! I would love to see more people support this business!

I love different food! I have eaten at Curry and Jerk many times since they opened. On November 5, 2024, they were offering buy 1 get one jerk chicken pasta via Uber eats. I was famished. The food always taste fresh. This time it tasted old and dry. After tasting a 2nd bite, there was a pink maggot in my food. Omg, I will never eat there again. Whomever’s looking to try some great food, go else where. This place isn’t where you should eat. I had food poisoning and I am still traumatized from such an experience. This restaurant should be boarded up and shut down.

It was our first time visiting this place. We ordered the curry chicken dinner. The food tasted really bad. The server didn't even ask why we didn't like the food. We only took a couple bites and left the rest. Wasn't even offered a discount or something else instead like most restaurants do.
Ordered door dash from here on a whim and it was fantastic. The value is great for your money and everything was delicious. The extra gravy option is definitely worth it.

I ordered the Curry chicken, mac & cheese and cabbage. The curry chicken was good 7/10. But the cabbage was not seasoned and too watery… and the mac and cheese tasted like alfredo with a few pieces of shredded cheese sprinked on top. Not to mention the mac and cheese was an extra $3. This Is NOT what I was expecting from a Jamaican Restaurant. Please upgrade to Baked Macaroni and cheese if you’re going to up charge people. Overall, I would not recommend, $45 wasted because I will not be finishing the food!
