Earnestine & Hazel's is a downtown Memphis dive bar known for its delicious soul burger and live music. The bar has a rich history, with famous musicians often visiting the place. Some say it's haunted, especially on the second floor. Despite the spooky rumors, the service is quick and snappy. The bartenders contribute to the cool vibe and will talk you some amazing stories about the history. The bar offers a simple menu focused on the award-winning cheeseburger, which many consider the best burger they've ever had. It’s a great spot for late-night cravings after a night on Beale Street, and the jukebox is awesome. The atmosphere is authentic and friendly, making it a must-visit spot for both locals and tourists. Visitors often leave with stories to tell and a desire to return.
