Taco loco

This place is a bit hole in the wallish, but don't let that keep you from stopping in, cause wow is it great! I got 3 tacos for around 4 bucks, very filling and more than enough for me. I tried the al pastor, carnitas and carne asada, they come with onion, cilantro and fresh lime slice on two soft, hot corn tortillas, I added shredded white cheese, as I dug in I could almost imagine I was in Mexico ordering from a street cart! Randomly wound up in front of this place at lunch so I figured I had to check it out. The place is a little worn as expected in this neighborhood but it was SUPER CLEAN inside. I ordered the chicken quesadilla (flour but they also offer a corn version which is probably more authentic). It was very very good served with sour cream, a tomatillo sauce, and a strange almost tasteless red sauce. This is a cute little place I stumbled upon while running an errand. It's run by this one family as far as I can see. The parents worked in the kitchen and the daughter waitressed. The tacos were reasonably-priced so I got enough for me and hubby. Then I sat and ate my portion there because I could. I got al pastor, carnitas, and chorizo.
