“We visited Chez Philippe in December for a birthday celebration and chose the seven-course tasting menu with wine pairings. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, polished, and attentive. We were welcomed with complimentary champagne, which was a lovely way to start the evening.

The ambience is elegant, European, and very refined. The presentation of each course was beautiful — every dish looked like a work of art. While the food was good, it wasn’t especially memorable for the price point, but the overall experience, service, and setting still made it a special night.

Since the birthday was noted on the reservation, this felt like a place that could have gone a little above and beyond with a small celebratory touch — even a candle or a simple birthday dessert would have made the evening feel more personal. We did receive a small take-home treat, which was a nice gesture.
