Starting from entering thru the front door, this dinner experience was on point! Staff greeting was warm and friendly and the private dining area where we were lead to was perfectly selected for the dinner event I was attending. The server, Chris, was attentive and his knowledge of the food and wine list, plus his recommendations were greatly appreciated as was his personality! From the Bacon appetizer, wedge salad, and lamb lollipops to the dessert espresso martini, I have nothing but accolades for this restaurant and would absolutely dine there again!

The restaurant was excellent. The menu was interesting and offered variety. John the waiter was very helpful and taking his advice to eat some local dishes was excellent. Service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The musicians playing while we had dinner was also a lovely bonus.

First let me say I am from Memphis and I have heard the name but did not know where this little gem of place was located on 2nd Street and Beale above BB King. It was an expected experience. Very elegant and a great date night place. The only complaint was I ordered the Mac and cheese and for ) $10 I expected it be better than a cheese sauce and some cheese that tasted like American cheese to be on top. I order shrimp and grits and that was good. My sister ordered the short ribs and that was nice and tender. But overall I will be back. Just work on the Mac😋

Revisited with my wife 7 years after our first date! Vibes and drinks were great. The “braised short ribs” were basically a crockpot roast — very, very disappointing for the price. Other food was good!

All was good except the wait staff was gathered around our seat because we were seated on the first booth from the hostess. They should respect the diners in that area by gathering somewhere else or not seat anyone in that booth.

Truly an experience! Loved the ambiance and the “speakeasy” secret hideaway persona! Food was excellent!! We had chilean sea bass, braised short ribs, bread pudding, and brownie. Everything was delicious!! The service was also outstanding!
