Before ai dinned at Itta Bena, named after the city where B.B.King was born, I checked the reviews by previous dinners. I had a hard time finding any reviews that were less than 5 stars. Those previous reviewers were all on point. The food was truly excellent. I had the salmon and it was wonderful, my girlfriend had the shrimp and grits, which I tasted a bit, and it was so delicious. If you are thinking of going to this restaurant for a meal, do not think twice. It is that good.
Mellow vibe, knowledgeable staff and delicious food. We went at the tail end of the night and enjoyed some delectable shrimp and grits with a sounds of jazz floating in from below. A must try in Memphis
Starting from entering thru the front door, this dinner experience was on point! Staff greeting was warm and friendly and the private dining area where we were lead to was perfectly selected for the dinner event I was attending. The server, Chris, was attentive and his knowledge of the food and wine list, plus his recommendations were greatly appreciated as was his personality!
