My first time at Itta Bena and it did not disappoint. Food was amazing. Highly recommend the shrimp and grits. Menu was on the small side as far as choices, but everything was prepared superbly well. Will be back!
Itta Bena is a beautiful restaurant with an atmosphere that is elegant and yet relaxed. Service was great, both the hostess and our waitress were exceptional and attentive throughout the evening. The menu is small but adequate. The best part of my meal was the soup. I had the crab soup, which was amazing, and my dining partner enjoyed the mushroom soup which was the special for the night. While we had no complaints about our entrées, neither was particularly memorable. I ordered...
My wife and I each ordered the short ribs and a glass of 8 Years in the Desert. The food was perfect - the beef tender, garlic potatoes creamy and asparagus cooked just right. Add the wine and atmosphere (soft lights, low key vibe with a jazz duo in the background) and you couldn't ask for better
