Visited Redlands Grill by J. Alexander's with a friend while in Memphis. We were waited on by Patrick, who provided attentive service. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. I ordered the Steak Maui cooked medium, with mashed potatoes, and I believe broccoli and a draft beer. Unfortunately, the steak wasn't prepared to the usual J. Alexander’s standard, it arrived well done instead of medium. Not the best meal I've had here, but still decent overall. Prices...
The last time we went here we were severely disappointed in both food and service, but this visit was a total change. The food was perfectly prepared… We had rotisserie chicken and trout. They even delayed one because it wasn’t perfect but explained. I can’t say what a huge improvement it was! Something changed and we look forward to returning
