I was looking for somewhere close to the airport to eat and decided to try this place. The food was delicious, and they were very friendly. It was like eating with family even though we probably stuck out like a sore thumb. 😆 When we left, they were all telling us bye and to have a good trip.
The service at the counter and in the dining area was great. The food was a little disappointing. I ordered the pork chops with gravy with 3 sides, mac and cheese, yams and green beans and peach cobbler. The green beans are the only reason this review is a 3 star. The peach cobbler and yams weren't bad but they didn't move me to increase the stars. The porks chops tasted like processed meat. They were tender but tasted like fake meat. We were visiting from Clarksville TN and was tired of the chain restaurants. I was looking for a local place to have some good food. Wow, the smell alone was amazing. Yes, we had to stand in line to get up to the food (but l figured it must be really good if that many people wait in line).
