I used to go there often, I had worked with the owners son at Auto-chlor System in Memphis and he used to bring us some of that delicious corn bread sticks that they made in his mom's kitchen and so whenever I went out for lunch the Little Tea Shop was a favorite place on mine to go to, his mom (Bobbie) was such a sweet lady and the food was awesome!

We knew before we came to Memphis that LTS was a place we needed to go to. It also happened to be, literally, a half block from where we were staying. We had read about the history and it did not disappoint. An old style eatery that takes you back in time and this includes the great service you get and having Suhair Lauck, the proprietor, come around to chat with you. We were tourists but there were men with ties having lunch as well as plenty of locals and regulars. We came on a Tuesday and had their Southern Fried Chicken and another entree I can't recall now since it's been almost a year since we were there. The pricing is very fair, the food is plenty good and the atmosphere is priceless as is the presence of Ms. Lauck. Also the Cornsticks are to die for, seriously! If you are looking for food value along with history this is it but remember they're only open from 11am - 2pm M-F.

American food and service at this location is great. Service is always excellent even when they have a full house. The service here is above par.

We went here for lunch and enjoyed everything about it. The location is very accessible in downtown. The owner and servers were all friendly, talkative and attentive. The fried fish entree was tasty and the veggie sides (greens and sweet potatoes) were great too. Save room for the peach cobbler too. Fair prices for nice portions. Kid friendly and can get busy. Only open for lunch. No alcohol. I will definitely be back.

We went here for a birthday celebration for our boss, who’s father went here many years ago. This place is a Memphis classic/must do. Small, quaint...and with an ambiance and decor nodding to the past. Just loved the personal attention we received...and everyone dining got the same greeting. Not a wide menu selection nor portion sizes that would knock your socks off...but that is not why you come here. Kick back, enjoy the ambiance, delicious food, and outstanding service.

Saw the sign as we walked along street and as one of us an avid tea drinker decided to go inside. Settled on a tea and a coffee accompanied by homemade apple/peach cobbler with a huge scoop of vanilla icecream. It was delicious and the host was very friendly. Great photos on the walls and some amazing displays of teapots..
